Yep it came back up just after noon PST, but now it is back down....

The free play gestures are nice, but they don't really make up for your site being down 80% of the time.

Honestly, giving out the freeplays is a smart idea from Jon's standpoint. It keeps customers happy, and the rollover makes it so they have to stay. Everyone who took the FP is stuck until their rollover is done.

The FP is a nice gesture, but anyone who thinks a $75 FP with 8X rollover makes up for the site being down 80% of the time is foolish. I stated this in the other thread, but BI is keeping customers by giving out the FP. Can't leave until that large rollover is done.

I played at Betislands earlier in the year and pretty much cashed out before all this stuff started to go down. First, we go from overnight lines, to possibly having overnight lines, to not having overnight lines. Now the site is down constantly. Have often can you reference quick payouts as the reason to play at that book? You can get quick P2P payouts from 5dimes, Betonline (its true even though I would never request a payout via different method because its a nightmare trying to get paid), Bookmaker, and pretty much any other A rated book. How can you make money as a bettor if you can't get your bets in. People are claiming they're calling in and it's taking hours for a CSR to answer the phone. If $50 FP every once in awhile is satisfactory to you, then great. I'd much rather be rewarded for my work by actually being able to make a wager.

It's a trying time right now but BetIslands is doing its best to accommodate players via phone. A lot of guys are new to the board but if you use the search engine, you'd unfortunately find just about every book has had their share of these attacks. Pretty much any company big enough to make itself a target has. It's an expensive lesson. SBR has even been attacked.

Hopefully the specialists BetIslands is consulting with are able to make this next week a better one.

Is it now SBR's place to defend a book that was caught totally unprepared to an attack that, as you indicate, could have been fully expected?
