Still in the process of finding out the current situation Katstale, however MrX is a credible source. So with that being said I would have to say things are improving. I will advise after I get an official statement from Matchbook about this situation though.

#37Below is an official statement from Matchbook on this subject gentlemen.
Lately we started using a new processor for sending courier mail checks. This has led to an increased processing time for courier mail withdrawals. On top of that, an administrative error on our part resulted in a batch of courier mail checks being processed incorrectly and delayed. Unfortunately this error only recently came to light and so we tried to reassure the affected customers and try and compensate them in some small way for the all the hassle this has caused.
Rest assured we are doing everything we can to expedite the delivery of these checks. As soon as we have tracking numbers they will be forwarded to customers and I will also update you on the situation.
If you could please apologise again to your members on our behalf and of course feel free to contact me if you need any more information or have any further concerns.Comment -

#40Just received a check today thru USPS. Took about 9 days to receive it.
I requested another payout about two weeks ago and that only took 3 days, and that came Fedex.
I requested one about 7 weeks ago and that took 20 days thru USPS.
Hopefully the system is getting streamlined and we get back to those two day deliveries, but it looks like we're on the 10-14 day plan right now.Comment -

#49I still haven't received any of my 3 requested "courier" checks. The first one was requested on August 27.
I still don't blame Matchbook. Remember that the U.S. government has its tentacles all over the world, including the world financial system. If anything, we should all be applauding the efforts and success of the sportsbooks thus farComment -

#51I have had the same problems with matchbook. and the courier checks, not to mention both of my banks, now put holds on all out of country checks because of internet fraud.
I love matchbook and will continue to play there because of b2b transfer but the question I would love dan to ask, though I have asked them many times myself, why are you not using moneygram or western union? It is so much easier than dealing with "the checks in the mail"
My only fear is the liquidity at matchbook from basically problems players have getting their accounts funded will continue to stifle the exchanges growth. This has happened before with exchanges and they have folded. Its already harder getting larger wagers down on many events.
At least non-american players have an easier time at matchbookComment -

Great News KAPS!
So it basically took 3 weeks and a few days to receive them which seems like the normal time for a "regular mail" checks to arrive.
It might only be a small hiccup in which the idiot processor sent out all "regular mail" checks by accident for a couple of weeks. It's impossible to know what happened.
For now, let's all keep each other informed regarding "courier" check arrivals so we can know when everything is back to normal. For now, everybody has to understand that it could take 3 weeks.
I'll keep you posted regarding my August 27 "courier" check which hasn't arrivedComment -

#60Correction: My August 27 "courier" check did actually arrive Friday afternoon via regular mail. My secretary didn't notice it when I first asked earlier in the day. It took 23 calendar days total.
I have other "courier" requests from Sep 4 and 6. Those are already over due by Matchbook standards. I'll keep you postedComment -
