Bookmaker stole my CC info and went on a $1400 online shopping spree!
I had a few minor issues with Bookmaker's customer service, enough for me to complain to them, but not enough to make a big deal on here...

One thing that royally pissed me off is causing me to post here however:

I gave them my CC information for two cards that I had just signed up for and exclusively used on that site. I had to fax front and back, my driver's license info, everything. Yesterday and today I got calls from the fraud department of my banks asking if I made over $1400 in purchases from the following sites:

    iwon inc
    docstoc.com
    friendfinder.com
    amazon
and a bunch of random people search companies.

I know it was an employee from bookmaker because they were the only company that I faxed the card information to, and it was those two cards that had fraud alerts. I am not a whiner. I have never initiated a **********. And I actually won about $240 from them so I am not a loser. But I hope this serves as a warning to anyone considering doing business with them. There is a bad apple that works for them that IS STEALING CC INFORMATION AND GOING ON SHOPPING SPREES WITH MY CARD. Don't let it be yours next.

Luckily, I was not liable for the fraudulent charges, but now I have to wait a week to get new cards issued. Pain in the ass.

Scoundrels can get CC numbers with no one doing anything wrong. I had a group in the Philippines hack a CC of mine. The CC company figured it out due to a gazillion pin attempts (and the CC had no pin). They were still able to charge $1000's of dollars, but I didn't have to pay it.

While your issue may raise a concern, I wouldn't conclude that Bookmaker is hijacking your CCs.

Same things happen to me.I send all details to one betting site and in next 7 days somebody spend 10k from my bank account by oppening account with my name at other betting site and attentionaly loosing money on poker.i had dispute with my bank and get my money back.
I find out that somebody hacked my mail and steal informations from the mail i send to betting site(pictures of my ID and CC) so close your mail or change passport because its probably the way that somebody steal your personal details.

C'mon Gman, 2 cc cards used no where else but Bookmaker? Are you telling the whole truth?

And secondly, much more likely you have a trojan or use the same password for your email and everything else than a bookmaker employee scammed you.

I'd still alert them though, just in case.

Does anyone know if the OP was banned? He claims he was banned after making this thread.

gman79 had a unrelated complaint regarding a fee on Christmas and we didn't hear from him since.

@gman79, Bookmaker would like you to call and ask for Jake so they can look into your post and talk to you about the w/d fee.

90% chance his email acct is/was compromised and/or his computer has spyware.
10% chance it was anyone employed or affialated with Bookmaker.

Just look at the "unauthorized" charges made on the cc. Those are Hacker 101.

While I can certianly sympathize with OP, this is a pretty irresponsible thread title given there has not yet been any investigation by anyone. Just because you used those cards with BM and no one else doesnt mean much in 2012. There a thousand ways your info can be hacked and/or compromised. And the fact BM is a solid book and has no reputation for this sort of activity just points more towards hacked info.

Find this hard to believe. I'd rather believe that you had a virus on your computer and it was stolen as you typed it in on their website.

Considering the player hasn't gotten back to us and his last contact was on Xmas saying that he was going to make negative posts unless he got his payout feed back...I think we give Bookmaker the benefit of the doubt here.

Youre right about the title. Im going to close the thread so the page doesn't keep scaring folks or get indexed on search engine. If the OP were to show up, we can open it again.
