My apologies if this is the wrong place for such a topic but strangely I've noticed that bookmaker has 1k limits on all their live betting options (not to win 1k). I'm unsure whether this has always been the case, or if I'm alone in this and this is a result of my extremely good month or so lol. I usually do my live betting at other books and it was quite shocking to discover that limit when I needed to make a very large hedge. If this limit is universal, that's pretty disappointing. I also spent a while combing through the rules/limits and was unable to find anything involving live betting. Anyway, thanks for the clarification guys.

#2The only question I can answer here is "no it hasn't always been that way". it's been almost a month since I've used their live betting but did wager more than that in the past.Comment -

#4As far as I know, $1,000 has always been the max wager allowed on Bookmaker's live betting.
Since you're allowed to re-bet as often as you want, I have no idea what you're complaining about as I don't know of any site that offers larger betting limits than $1,000 a shot on in running events.
I'm assuming that you use other books that offer larger limits on in-running events and I would be curious to know which books you use.Comment -

#5Thanks for the response man. I can't remember what 5dimes live limits were, but I'm pretty sure they were more than 1k. I know bodog doesn't have that restriction, their limit is to win $500 (or $500 on +bets), which is infinitely better than only being able to bet 1k total. Most of the live bets I make are heavily juiced, like -300 to -1000 and I like to go as large as possible when the time is right. It may be unconventional but these go big moments work for me. Also, this isn't a bookmaker bashing thread, I like the book, just looking for clarification as I said. And it's good that I'm not being limited, thanks again for the post.Last edited by DR225; 12-18-11, 10:50 PM.Comment -

#6Dr225,
Appreciate the points.
5 Dimes has $500 limits on their live betting though if you beat them with any regularity, your limits will get cut. I can only bet 20% of normal limits across the board on everything 5 Dimes offers which is quite frustrating.
Regarding BoDog, I have been limited there as well with $50 max limits on their live spread/total wagers.
Unfortunately, with Bookmaker Live, an exceeded bet limit message only get shown after you click to submit the wager so I can't check and see what my max limits are on heavily juiced bets to see if Bookmaker simply lowered their overall limits as opposed to partially restricting your account.
With the incredibly large juice they take on Bookmaker Live, its pretty tough to beat it so congrats on you having success. There are indeed tons of opportunities to make money but you have to be patient and wager only when the right opportunity presents itself.
Have a good week.Comment -

#7Thanks for the info man. And yeah, I wouldn't want you betting it just to see if it was possible lol, was asking more for people with prior experience doing just that. I don't bet at bodog very often anymore but for their credit, they let me reach a 20k balance when I only had one deposit of 1.5k and never limited me whatsoever. Anyway, best of luck this week man.Comment -

#10Durito, you make it more and more obvious each day why the vast majority of people who post in this forum can't stand you.
Can you name one book that accepts U.S. players that allows you to bet more than $1,000 on a single wager on an in-running event?
Since a $50 wager probably gives you the "shakes", I'm not expecting an intelligent answer to ever come from a small-time FLEA LIKE yourself.Comment -

The vast majority of my wagers consist of prop betting, futures betting and in-running wagering so I seem to get limited much quicker than most.
I was never able to make consistent profits betting against regular pre-game spreads but I admire those that are able to do so.Comment -

#13You haven't been limited they just have different limits on things at different stages of the games. Sometimes I find late game limits of only 3 units. It's weired but I would say you're likely to not have been limited.Comment -

#16Bookmaker never limited me. I made over $5K tonight on Monday Night Football Live Wagering. Ofcourse, I got lucky. But, I've won big in the past with Bookmaker and they have never limted me, and they always pay fast. They are one of the best books in my opinion.Comment -

You didn't mention "accepts us players" previously. I am sorry you lack the intelligence to open accounts from the usa.
BetOnline and sportsbook.com (and all of their skins) come to mind off the top of my head.
Pinny, greek, sbo, etc. all as well for the non critically thinking impaired americans.
