In order to give you an idea why SIA are rated what they are. Here is a good place to start sir:
      7/11/2007 10:23 PM
sportsinteraction downgraded from C- to D+

The downgrade is a result of the latest funds confiscation complaint by a player who had five months of winnings voided as well as previous incidents over the past six months where SIA applied rules that did not exist. These players accuse sportsinteraction of taking a wait-and-see approach and applying unlisted policies to their large accounts. SIA has added to its rules pages after discussing incidents with SBR but refuses to honor the winnings in question.
Players have to remember that Sportsinteraction is a "recreational book" that will use any gray area type rule to there advantage IF it benefits them greatly. If your just a average square Joe type player that don't chase steam, or are a bonus whore or any other things like that. Then odds are you should be Ok if all your paperwork they are requiring upfront these days before any action goes into play.

In regards to the Jazz portion of your question. First off, they never had an A+ rating here at SBR from what I can recall. I believe the highest they ever had was a B+.

Anyways, Jazz is more of a professional book that is very upfront about there steam chasing rules, and they do offer some nice props with fairly high limits ($1,000). The bad side to Jazz if your a U.S. player is that there withdraw fees are quite pricey ($80 fee for fedex checks/with max payout of $2,000 per week).

Matchbook is an exchange where players post there offerings.

I believe BBD is owner of SIA and doesn't want to pimp out his book too much, thus the D+ rating.

I could be wrong, but at least people call me Moses!

FYI, I tried to revisit that SIA confiscation issue just last week. SIA's customer service has gotten better, and they are doing a better job at preventing these kind of complaints from happening. However, they still refuse to pay the player from July... I wouldn't vote to upgrade them anytime soon unless they address this.

A D+ rating is beyond ridiculous for SIA......And somehow Bodog is an A+ book?

Topcat: I assure you, your money is safe at SIA. Just don't do any gaming syndicate stuff, use multiple IP addresses, try to swindle the book, or anything like that and you will be fine.
