If they refunded your original deposit, they've already ruled against you. They're giving you a chance to walk away. If you pay the $800 that's an admission of guilt.

Admission of guilt = not allowed to play at sportsbook, therefore deposit returned winning balance confiscated.

My outlook:
If you have ever done a charge back at any book you are likely blacklisted especially if you have done it at one of Jazzettes books (Sportsbook, Hollywwood, brobury, etc.)
If this is the case be grateful you got your deposit back and congrats on ruining your future of playing offshore, if this is not the case than it is best if you let SBR handle this.

I just feel like sending the $800 is the surest way to confirm whether they are liars or not. Avoid all of this back and forth that they are going to do with SBR, and a possible long wait. I looked over other SBR cases, if it's not an A or B sportsbook it can take awhile... It's like, if I send it, and they don't do what they said, then who looks shady and deceitful? We can settle this once and for all. See what SBR doesn't know that I KNOW is that Sportsbook.com is most definitely bluffing about my billing address being the same as these accounts from 2009... an ip address being the same, fine I can accept that is possible because I logged on from different signals, but the billing address?? When the chat reps said the ip and the billing, not just the address, but the billing address - I really felt like I had them caught in a lie that they can't get out of, so as long as they can't fabricate account records they have nothing to show SBR. There is no similarity to my account and these 3 accounts from 2009, not the name, not the billing address, NOTHING except an ip address, and since I know I signed up from my secure signal at home, it had to have been one of the subsequent times I accessed my sportsbook account from starbucks or the neighborhood's unsecured signal..... bottom line Sportsbook is really a horrible website because they knew I would share my transcripts and so they added this whole billing address thing into their defense to really get a % of you guys to question me and think that is too much of a coincidence, but I'm friggn' adamant that they are making this up. And SBR will be given no proof from sportsbook & then you guys will know the truth. I just think I can bring the proof to SBR and you guys if I send $800 and see if sportsbook restores my account or not. It's not a perfect plan but I'm dealing with the hand I've been dealt.

Got another email from Sportsbook.com. Don't know if this is an old response from one of my queued emails to a bunch of their addresses I rounded up or what, but the news is horrible. Don't know what kind of authority this Annie has.. Must predate SBR's involvement and not the final word. I will hold off on the $800 now...But this is unreal, Sportsbook.com has now gone from saying I'll have my account reopened if I send my documents to show my identity and write a note saying I don't know who this person and that person are and have no knowledge of those accounts to saying I need to pay $800 to cover the debts in an account from 2009 and then my account will be restored, to finally YOUR BANNED. Their inconsistency speaks for itself.

We would like to inform you that we will not be collecting any of the owed funds from neither your account nor the past problematic accounts linked to you. That is to say that we have decided to Ban all accounts linked to this case for good and none will be re-open.

They refunded your 1k. That means, as of now, that acct is dead and so are any winnings associated with it (your 26k). DO NOT SEND THEM THE MONEY UNTIL SBR GETS BACK TO YOU WITH INSTRUCTIONS

You deserve to lose that $800 if you send iit to them right now. Don't be an idiot. Is waiting a few days to hear back worth losing not only the 26k, but another $800???

Pretty sure they would have kept the money if you had lost. Pretty shitty book. They have a win win situation going. You shouldn't try to defraud any of the books, but they should at least give you some hard evidence, transaction history, supporting documents, etc. Maybe you were drunk and forgot about opening the accounts. I get drunk and forget shit all the time.

Similar dispute?!?? The betus was a $100 **! The dispute was simply they claimed their wire and check processors were down and didn't want to pay the $100,000 in winnings. Had nothing to do with chargebacks at all lol.

When I was about 25 I got the run around with Bodog because I won about 4 grand on Blackjack one night. I had been losing for years and they were always taking money from my bank no problem. Then I made a hefty withdrawal and all the sudden they needed drivers licence , copies of bills, credit cards etc. I figured I was screwed. Unfortunately my ID still had a previous address which they would not accept, after about 3 days they rejected it. So I had to go to the DMV to get a new license and all that crap. However they did pay up right after I got that over to them. Check from Fed-ex. Which Ive since given them back many times over, however Moral of the story : dont screw around with the bookies.
