Not surprised. Only a few books used them (Bet Jamaica), I think.

No surpises here. I used them once and got a very uneasy feeling about them as well as parlaymakers. It was a scam for them to charge fees on EVERY transaction even when you received money.

That's wierd that there is no info from parlaymakers and all GP says is that they are no longer processing gaming transactions.
I reset my password, my GP account is funded, but the linked parlaymaker account has no money in it.
Anybody else have this situation.

It's all digital curreny, or e-currency like digital reserve
, regardless of what they say. These fiat currencys are only as good as the faith behind them, and you have to assume that when they say it is gold backed that it is a lie.

There's a good chance that because ParlayMakers was sending you a confirmation of every bet your spam guard got the idea that their communications were spam, and so sent the password to your spam folder.
Amazing that Max won't step in and explain the GP situation and give us an idea of what we can expect going forward. I guess he just got frustrated by the hassle of communicating with players...his book wasn't growing by talking to us...so he's just gonna step back and let what happens happen. Despite it all I don't have the sense that this is a deliberate scam, just a technology guy who thought it was all about offering the best theoretical price and despite a promising ear-to-the-ground start never got a clue about how real customers make deposit decisions.

I think you could buy gold from them at the going rate. It was just a nice front to try and divert attention to what was really going on.

Good timing, I have $290 with them. Their "internal communication system" is not working, it sounds like I'm going to lose that money.

Will be interesting to see if ParlayMkrs goes down too. Always seemed to be strong implications they were one and the same.
I was hoping GP would stabilize as a long term option but was skeptical that they would succeed. I wish I hadn't been correct.

The 2 best e-wallets are moneybookers and paypal, paypal is only good for gambling if you live in the UK.
I'm glad I haven't used GP. There's no point in using more then 1 e-wallet for gambling, that's why I use MB for gambling porpuse.

Wouldn't surprise me if this is the case (strong-armed by the financial crimes dept of the dept of the treasury, USA).
No arrests and won't make the news, but the effect is the same -- another processor goes down -- when the agents come a knockin' and talkin' about charges under the UIGEA, money laundering, criminal enterprise, etc.
Just another day in the US' "war" against online gambling -- a silent and invisible little war that no one cares about.
The FinCen agents will be sitting at home today with their families and watching the Superbowl tomorrow. Then Monday morning it's back to the 9 to 5 government job of hunting down and smoking out online gambling money processors. They probably make a decent paycheck as well. In fact this very thread may have several sets of agent eyeballs on it come Monday morning. Hi, guys! Hope your team lost the Superbowl!

And how much money does the supposedly "broke" US continue to waste chasing online gambling cases in and out of the country? Would love to see the budget total in that department, and yet education, medical, Social Security are all going broke. A joke.
