I don’t think you can do this anymore. Like 4 years ago I remember being able to buy like $50-100 at a time this way. Last I tried 2 summers ago I couldn’t figure it out

    Is this a new account?

Have you ever had a higher limit?

If your limit has gone down, I think that means they have flagged your account for a check.

No one is going to be able to tell you for sure apart from them.

    Ring them? +1 (888) 908–7930

Probably easier to install Cash App on your phone and buy through that btw.

The phone app called Cash App is the quickest way to get started and buy with a card.

It may take a day to get verified but then you are good to go to buy instantly.

And no matter what Exchanger (a company who will buy and sell you bitcoin) you use you always need your own wallet.

If you have been sending direct from Coinbase to a bookmaker that could be the reason your account was flagged btw.

    As far as which one I'd suggest;

If you prefer an online website wallet, blockchain.com/wallet

If you prefer a Phone App wallet, get one called Edge from your app store.

If you want to use a desktop wallet on a computer, electrum.org

When you say sent from coinbase to "my wallet", are you talking about sending to the bitcoin wallet that resides in your Coinbase account?

If not, what is the name of the wallet you are calling "my wallet"?

Yes you can send physically from Gemini to Coinbase, but Gemini will not like it if they detect it. They have asked a couple of people why they are sending direct to another exchange. Can't tell you why but think it relates to money laundering.

You can avoid every problem like this by simply owning your own wallet and always using it at one end of every send or receive you make.

I wasn't being a smart ass. Really have no idea what you mean by @wallet. Googled it and all.

Your Coinbase account probably contains two wallets to hold funds there. A US$ wallet and a BTC wallet. I suspect you are calling the BTC wallet "my wallet".

If that's the case, you should also get yourself one the private wallets mentioned above as your main wallet. The Coinbase one you do not control the private keys for. It's not really your wallet. Just a wallet they let you use which they control and own.

It sounds like you have already sent/received bitcoin before and know how to do that part?

If so sending to a private wallet you own, from your Coinbase account BTC Wallet should not be a problem. Sounds like once you get that wallet and do it once, ti will all click together. I think you are still just a little bit confused is all.

Step 1- get yourself your own wallet- from blockchain or electrum for example

Step 2 - buy your bitcoin from where ever u want.

Step 3- send your bitcoin to your wallet - like blockchain or electrum for example

Step 4- send your bitcoin from blockchain or electrum to the Sportsbook of your choice.

Step 5 - print this out and save it for your future questions
