#77They told me yesterday that they were going to send me a **. So I went to the DMV this morning and got a State ID card that was accepted at the Walmart where I picked up the money. I am lazy, thats why I never did it before, but for 1,600 bucks I am willing to stand in line for 2 hours and get one. Now I have the money and a ID, so I guess it worked outComment -

I don't have DL, yep I ****ed up. Too many tickets. I didn't feel like waiting in line to get a ID. Most books have no problem paying out if the last name is the same. Check into it. Jazz, Betjamaica are a couple solid books who had no problem paying me via Moneygram to a family member. But RW would only do it to me, so I got a State ID.

#91The people people in this thread who are clueless are you and hedgehog. I have forgotten more about this business then you will ever know. I take more action on Sunday from single players on one NFL side then you will most likely wager this year. Yet you think that a kid who signs up for a contest and provides misleading information and a player who disregards our rules are worth taking shots at my credibility. I've provided SBR with my references. Where are yours?
So many guys in this forum are lucky that they can bet online because some of the crap that they try to pull would get them a well deserved smack from a local.
This isn't about asking for a payout to a name other then yours or putting in a fake phone number when creating your account . It's not about placing a wager after the alloted time frame. It's about respecting the rules.
In every aspect in life there are rules and when rules are broken there are consequences, however so many poster run to SBR when they think they are wronged when in reality all they have to do is follow the rules.
Players should take comfort in the fact that we are open to discussing player claims with SBR and in most instances will follow their recommendations.
I may be new to the post up business but I am not new to this business. I treat my players with respect, pay them promptly when they win and give them more chances then most books to get there money back when they lose.
I'll say this in closing. As long as players follow our rules they will have no problems with any of my products. They will be paid within the timeframes and guarantees posted on our site and they will be treated with the courtesy and respect they deserve.
For those that choose to ignore them there will be no second chances.
90% of the players in this business lose over there lifetime and if you can't understand the value of 50% CASH BACK then you are the ones that are truly clueless.Comment -

#92Get up to 50% cash back - no strings attached.
This really sounds good- gamblers insurance right away- instead of waiting 6 months like other books who offer a percentage on losses, but they are more like 15%!
YOUR MONEY CREDITED IN 20 MINUTES OR GET $500.00 IN FREE PLAY
I've made a couple deposits to 2 separate high rated books in the last 3 weeks. One gave me the wrong country to send to, and the other took over an hour to get the money in my account. Both times I missed out on getting my wagers in, and in both instances I missed out on making money as they both won.
GET PAID IN ONE DAY OR GET $500.00 IN FREE PLAY
Some high rated books still take 3 or more days.
Blackie,
These 3 combined with SBR's recommendation, and knowing that you and your reps are here on the SBR forum and not running from any questions means a lot. I just ordered the debit card, and am looking forward to to playing at RebateWager.

#94Blackie:
FWIW, I agree with your decision to pay the name on file in the current case against RW. But as usual, I'm sure SBR had to nudge you in the right direction as your first inclination was to steal. My problem is and remains with the way you cheated the teaser player back in October, by invoking a "calendar" week rule on opens. A completely assinine rule to somehow legitimize your theft. Again, SBR needed to show RW the proper path and at least he got some of his money back, minimizing your theft in that case. Makes me wonder how many other cases go unreported.
It's difficult enough to win at your Book: 20 cent lines, no overnight #s, and ties lose on all teasers (instead of reducing to the next win level). And if some lucky shmuck hits a four-teamer, you look for ways to screw him out of his payout. No wonder you offer 50% back on losses--no one stands a fair shot at winning at RW.Comment -

If you are a true handicapper and can pick winners then you'll get paid. If all you do is follow the number or play the hot sides and don't give us any square business then we will most likely show you the door.

#96How can we steal from a player that knows the rules, knows the consequebces of breaking those rules and chooses not to follow those rules. If you don't like the rules, don't play with us period but don't go running to SBR like some little school girl because you feel wronged.
This wasn't an obscure rule that was used to cancel a bet after it was made. This was a rule that the playerv was aware of before placing the bet and was aware of the consequences. He choose not to follow it. He should except the consequences and based on our posted rules those consequences result in a loss.
If you break the rules in society you suffer consequences. Why should it be any different in online betting?Comment -

#98That decision would be up to the lines manager and if he determines that your actions falls into a category that would warrant showing you the door then it would'nt matter if you were playing at RB or BD. You would probally be show the door faste at BD since you are palying with our money (credit).Comment -

In the case of paying to the name that was used on the sign up that was not SBRs call it was mine. You can check with them on that one. I would rather send a payout and let it sit in limbo at ** then let someone steal from me or accuse me of not paying.
You talk about how difficult it is to win with our offerings but what you don't realize is how difficult it is for books to make money when so many books give their advantage to the players.
Our offerings haven't changed drastically in the last twenty years and they won't. We believe in keeping our advatage, That is what a bookmaker should do.
Most new Sportsbooks that give away the house's advantage and that's why they fail. We are not going to give away ours and that's why we won't.

#104Having been shown the door at Blackdog, I still cannot say anything bad about them. They treated me in a professional manner and were always pleasant and courteous. As opposed to the other newer credit shop which will remain nameless, the difference is like night and day. I never worried about getting paid from the Dog. It is definitely a rec shop though and while my wagers were relatively small I do miss playing there and the good people.Comment -
