Not even a home page for me now. But Wagerchief is up and I finally could log in. Extremely slow though, so since they seem to be tied at the hip with BetPhoenix the problem is probably something with bandwidth.

It seems to be the whole BetPhoenix family of book. Sports-1, Wagerchief, and I haven't tried Mania.
The only one I can log into now is WC, but it is extremely slow.

It appears that this entire family of books is using the same bandwidth. That may or may not be the right word, technically, but whatever the right word is, it is completely unacceptable. One book out, once in a rare while, is something we can live with, but this goes well beyond that. I have funds in two of these books, and while I don't depend on those funds to place bets, I'm now pretty angry with them for exposing themselves in this manner. (How am I supposed to complete rollover when I can't even bet there?)

In any case, we're all human and we all make mistakes. So if this is a one time deal that is resolved once and for all, I'm ok with that. But if it happens again, where I can't log in to more than one of their books at the same time, I'm taking my money out and expect them to swallow any outstanding rollover.

Couldnt even get any bets in for the NFL games. BetPhoenix is the worst. Why the hell would they do server work on the wekkend?

This is classic. EVERYONE should have expected this. An overload of users right before Noon kickoffs for the NFL, them having this "new" set-up in place after yesterday's debacle ... you needed to get in way ahead of the kickoffs today. Would suggest the same for late games if you get in, make your wagers early.

Well, after the live chat w/BP, transfer did not go through.

So when the phone line came back up, I called and was told no transfers on sundays, so I said why didn't you just say that on live chat, then was threatened with " Would you like me to suspend your account?"

I still don't get how you can be getting on live chat if you can't log into the site. I would never request anything that way when you cannot actually be on the site at the same time. I know that is how they do requests to begin with, but seems shady to do it otherwise.

I was talking to one of their cs reps and she told me that they had internet provider problems at where the servers are at.

I came across this thread because I was consider opening an account there, barring this weekend could I get some feedback. I also seen in September that others such as 5dimes and Betcris came under some sort of service attack and was offline, how common is this among bookmaker websites?

You don't have to log in to use their live chat, just need to get to their home page, and click on the link.

While this is all disappointing and such, I will be sticking around so long as they can get this fixed reliably, and soon. At least when Phoenix comes back online, they can book your play instantly. Can't say that for Matchbook, when they go down (and they do) all the open offers are reset and then they have to build back up.

Either way, it does show the imprtance of having multiple outs, no matter who your favorite book is.

Couldn't agree more,now that I see BFC is in the equation,I think something stinks big time.Seems to be an inordinate amount of shills for BP on this site.

I'd have to say to everyone, "calm down". I've seen this happen at virtually every major sportsbook that exist. These guys pay super-fast, so there's no problem there. Second thing, if you give the reps a hard time, they will give you a hard time in return sooner or later.
As unfortunate as this situation is, it's should get fixed. This is a fixable situation. You have to remember the reps are under a lot of stress right now with this problem. Lots of angry callers, lots of people complaining (rightfully so, but still stressful).

I'm sure the book is upset too, they lose a lot of business today, and their customer base is pissed off.

Just understand their side also, even though it is frustrating for the bettor, yes we are justified, but take it easy.
