Does anyone else notice that often times the main market maker for Fairlay, aka Pinnacle agent/odds, offers a significant difference in limit between sides.

For example tonight, MLB Atlanta Braves vs New York Mets line is -104/-104 currently. You can wager up to 3.994 BTC ($44k) immediately on Atlanta ML but only 0.5 BTC ($5.5k) on New York Mets. Does this imply the market maker views the sharp side as New York Mets?

With New York Mets playing bad lately, I would imagine the public would be heavier on ATL than NYM so I don't think it is that they have a ton more action on NYM.

      Thoughts?

Interesting to see if they are right. I had no idea a place could allow $44k on one side and only 5k on the other side!

You can rebet it too, but the line will obviously move if you max bet. I've seen people wager over 100k equivalent of bitcoin on a side on Fairlay. It is awesome that Fairlay is working with Pinnacle in some way as they truly do have the best odds pregame and live.

Oh well, they are/would just making somebody bet more often if they want big on NYM.

And then they can change the line a little with every 5k bet!

Interesting take. The Pinny lean was good to us for years.

I wonder how fairlay deal with games which were voided by pinnacle due to ‘suspicious betting activity’.
My guess fairlay settle them correctly but it will be interesting to hear someone’s experience.

Your assuming he's playing guessing games. Maybe he has another reason for wanting to make his play and uses the method he described as a tool.

Any clue what is the hit rate for Pinny MLB Money Line leans in this season, and what are the average odds of these leans?

I'm not sure of the numbers. When Pinny has the best odds on a play, it does make me reconsider.
