On July 5th I requested a $10K transfer from my WSEX account to my Matchbook account. I was told that there is now a $5K maximum on interbook transfers, and that they charge $50 per transfer.
I was also told that I had received a $500 bonus from my last deposit and had not cleared the $27,500 wagering requirement. I was told that I had only wagered $16,592. Now I knew that I had actually wagered over $30K, but that about half of it was in their futures markets. After checking their rules, I could see that live market bets don't count towards rollovers, but futures markets bets were not mentioned as not counting. Since futures market bets are treated as distinctly seperate from live market bets in all of their site's betting rules, I emailed them for clarification. They told me that futures markets bets were not counted towards the rollover. I accepted their explanation without complaint.
Well today (July 15th), I verified that I have now fulfilled the $27,500 wagering requirement and requested my $5K transfer to Matchbook. Now they tell me that the maximum transfer amount is $2,500! Of course, the fee is still $50.
I asked them when their policy changed, because I had been told a little more than a week ago that the max was $5K. Well, they answered that they don't know when the rules changed, but that the maximum is now $2,500 per transfer, along with a $50 fee.
Has anyone else had similiar problems? Has anyone tried to transfer more than $2,500 recently?
This book has been going downhill fast, and something really reeks here. There's a good chance they are in serious financial trouble, and I have no idea how they continune to hold onto their B rating.
