WSEX Jerking Me Around On Interbook Transfers
On July 5th I requested a $10K transfer from my WSEX account to my Matchbook account. I was told that there is now a $5K maximum on interbook transfers, and that they charge $50 per transfer.

I was also told that I had received a $500 bonus from my last deposit and had not cleared the $27,500 wagering requirement. I was told that I had only wagered $16,592. Now I knew that I had actually wagered over $30K, but that about half of it was in their futures markets. After checking their rules, I could see that live market bets don't count towards rollovers, but futures markets bets were not mentioned as not counting. Since futures market bets are treated as distinctly seperate from live market bets in all of their site's betting rules, I emailed them for clarification. They told me that futures markets bets were not counted towards the rollover. I accepted their explanation without complaint.

Well today (July 15th), I verified that I have now fulfilled the $27,500 wagering requirement and requested my $5K transfer to Matchbook. Now they tell me that the maximum transfer amount is $2,500! Of course, the fee is still $50.

I asked them when their policy changed, because I had been told a little more than a week ago that the max was $5K. Well, they answered that they don't know when the rules changed, but that the maximum is now $2,500 per transfer, along with a $50 fee.

Has anyone else had similiar problems? Has anyone tried to transfer more than $2,500 recently?

This book has been going downhill fast, and something really reeks here. There's a good chance they are in serious financial trouble, and I have no idea how they continune to hold onto their B rating.

WSEX should be downgraded. They have been jerking account holders around for awile. If they just put somebody in charge of that place who knows what they are doing they could be one of the most successful books. Instead they will crash and burn and everybody should AVOID WSEX! $50 charge for a book transer. HOW ABSURD! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF WSEX.

            I agree.

I am new to this forum. Would it be inappropriate to start a thread here asking for people to chime in if they think WSEX is overdue for a downgrade?

KGambler, you're not too bright are you?

gym rat, please start a thread on A+ rated Bookmaker. They charge $200 for book to book transfers of 5k or more. $100 charge for less than 5K. WSEX transfers used to be free but assholes took advantage of it and was using them as a middle man to move money.

WSEX is desperately trying to hold on until football season starts and they get new deposits.

                    Be careful.

Also, both WSEX, and their sister book, Matchbook.com, are owned by the same people.

Wouldnt be surprised is the is true, But please have proof before you post shit like this. They definitley are having some issues with banks.

JC you care to elaborate. They have been scared to book for years anyway. I stopped using them when every wager was denied. What a joke fake bookmaker

I am not defending legitimate complaints against WSEX . I am defending WSEX against libelous posts that are defaming WSEX.

I was just told that customers who have ever deposited via credit card, ** or ** are not allowed to make an interbook transfer. So, good news for those of you that sent gold coins via carrier pigeon to these bankrupt crooks, but now I'm really starting to believe the rest of us are f'd.

                            That's absurd.

So, basically there is now no way to get money out in under a month.

I wouldn't worry about it. Poster "Chuck Sims" has assured us, in multiple threads, that WSEX used to pay out promptly 3 or 4 years ago.

OK, actually, this is really bad. This should be front page, rating changing news on SBR.

Also, a couple of days ago poster "WSEX" wrote that major improvements in withdrawal procedures were about to be announced! I hope this is not what he had in mind.

RickeySteve, Have you e-mailed Steve or anyone above the people that answer the phone at WSEX? Yes, they are slow paying but no one has been stiffed. Its too late now, but since so many posters are saying W is going under and they must be broke, it will only make matters worse.

it's impossible for me to understand why people with money tied up in a book are pressing sbr to do a downgrade of that book (like in this topic), they are the ones that should be hoping there's no downgrade, at least until they're out themselves.

Thats what I am trying to convey to do these dummies. One poster suggested they should be dropped to D-. Those ratings are reserved for books that are running a scam, or have a pattern of stiffing people. These posters are cutting their own throat.

Its alright to post that you are waiting too long to be paid but then to follow it up to say WSEX is on the brink of financial ruin is stupid. Start a mad run on the bank, and it only makes it worse.

In that case, I move that WSEX be upgraded to A+++ and I hereby nominate Chuck Sims for Minister of Propaganda.

Chuck Sims seems to be no life, pimple faced virgin living in his who.re mother's basement with nothing better to do than comment on every thread posted to get some kind of people contact...Someone who knows this jerkoff should let me know where he lives so I can give him a beating like his father should have done years ago.
