#72So Op being "sharp" and limited by Heritage? I didn't think Heritage was a rec book and took all oncomers like Pinnacle? That's a bad look. I can't even think of 2 or maybe 3 books now that wouldn't limit you for being sharp. OP needs some birdies near sportsbooks. I'm in NJ bud, hit me up.
Weak.
You know how you can wager more at 5Dimes once they reset the line? At Heritage once you hit your MAX... you can't wager anymore even if the line resets.Comment -

#73I would have definitely called heritage to check on bets b4 the start of the game. I do think he was taking a shot at them. the bets being cancelled the next day is a problem. he should be payed. after being payed I can see heritage telling him to play elsewhere. whatever they work out as long as both are happy with the conclusion, that's the goal.Comment -

#74How the hell he was taking shot at them. He didnt bet bad line,he just saw his limits are higher and bet all in. At Pinny you have different limits all the time, and they are funny number like this at Heritage like 3092 mac bet for example. If they did cancel before match started ok,or if they did recalculated to their imaginary limit before started fair play. But they are the ones thag free rolled him. Imagine he lost bet and he contact chat support and ask them why did you accep my bet for 7k i stead for 200$ because of my limits. They would respond we have discretional right to change limits based on our exposure blah blah.
Costa rican sites are disgrace for industry especially BetOnline and their security.
Now when US allowed betting they should go beyond and above for players to stay with them,au contrair they are doing everything to fck them.Comment -

#78he knew he was taking a shot and heritage knew that and returned the favor. pay him and toss him,my solution. for me 1st fault is the cause of everything that happens after. he is not a newbie, he knew all along what was going to happen - 100 limit is not going to get you able to bet the 1st 3000 let alone then another 4000 more if your limit is changed, any idiot would think something might be wrong and check. he decided to take a shot, with that choice comes much more risk.Comment -

#79I dont see this as taking a shot- legit wager at a good number. Heritage just happened to open up the limits -maybe they where heavy on the one side; knowing mcsmiths betting patterns , he would hit it from the other end...

Did he actually send Heritage 7k worth of Bitcoin or something when he noticed the error? I sure as hell wouldn't leave 7k in a book that only allowed $100 max limits on wagers.Comment -

Seems to me that first fault is whatever shoddy programming logic that Heritage had in place that permitted the player to wager beyond his supposed limit.Comment -

#82Only thing I question is... let's say you had a $100 limit for wagers in your acct. Would that be for a specific sport? Or everything offered? And if you are only limited to $100 a wager... why on earth would you leave 7k worth to wager on in that book? Makes no sense to me.

#83having a $100 half time limit doesn't necessarily mean that the same applies for every other type of bet they offer. Most of the US bookies limit players to a certain percentage of the original available amounts, not to a fixed number.Comment -

#84I spoke with Heritage this morning and we were able to come to a reasonable solution for both sides, the issue has now been resolved and all is good moving forward. Thanks for everyone's input.Comment -

At one point, Heritage limited me on the “added” or “extra” NCAA Football and basketball games, even more so than they generally limit bettors. We had a discussion and the limits were returned to normal.
Good on them and good for you.Comment -

Similar to what i assumed such as you bet that prop bet for yes/no and you got a line i thought looked very a bit skeptical. I said you bet this line at betonline and arb it at another book and you said i was wrong. So im going to take your word over it?
So the line you saw at betonline was probably the reason why you max bet the prop. You had to immediately take offense to that. Here's the interesting thing. You already mentioned before you like to look at prop bets and arb it or something like that a while back. So if you said something like that, well a prop bet with a no price which looks very skeptical made me think well that is probably what you did.Comment -

You mean like with your betonline bet right? Bet the No at that price and hit the Yes at another book at least to break even odds or arb it or clear rollover?
You know whats funny? You told me you didn't remember the odds on the yes and said something like how could i remember the odds on that bet and you said you had like 100 bets that day. So you mean you had over 100 wagers that day and each wager was at least 300 dollars since that prop bet was like 750 to win 300 or something like that? So someone like you had over 30k in action minimum that day? For someone that goes off on a book for a small withdraw fee... i doubt someone like you has that type of action in one day. You already mentioned you don't play at books which don't give out a bonus. So that makes this even look bad for you. Assume someone who you think is arbing or bonus hunting which they may or not may not be doing, yet you do the same thing.Comment
