Justbet (Bookmaker) Bitcoin Payout Bait and Switch

Here is my chat with JustBet copied and pasted below. Please note that she says that I need a "credit history" and "play more and you might get it turned back on later," but gave no specifics. This is almost akin to what BetonSports kept telling me before they stole $20K from me and countless more fro others. As someone who easily bets over $100K a week there when active and has done so for over five years, I don't know how much more of a "credit history" one could ask for. This is all very disturbing.

Below is the e-mail and phone call that I was referencing too. I was specifically told less than a week ago to start using Bitcoin as I could withdraw and deposit instantaneously that way, only to have the option taken away altogether after winning less than I lost last month. I get that they're trying to make me keep it all in there to eventually lose it again, but I am considering just not wagering offshore at all anymore once JustBet and Bookmaker (the two books that you could always count on to make big wagers and get paid with great customer service) stoop to such pettiness and break their own cashout rules over such a small amount.

Very strange. I also no longer see Bitcoin as a withdrawal option in the Cashier section at Bookmaker. Curious if any other users here still see the option available to them?

Not sure what they mean by more credit history but it sounds like CS staff don't have the exact reasoning to give you. But agree it's bloody annoying to have this happen right after being requested to use it.

Personally, I would re-contact the JJ rep who suggested this to you and see if he can get you re-approved.

Wow, I see now that I can't withdraw by BTC either. Not really any need right now, but it's odd. I don't know what is meant by building a credit history, but i've been playing there pretty much forever and there is no way this is about how much I wager. Very curious what the deal is. Why tell you to build credit but not tell you what in the world that means?

It seems to me there are only two possibilities: they are trying to stem funds outflow due to financial difficulty (and/or greed); or, they have been burned by a few big cases of bitcoin payout fraud and want to put everything on hold for the moment. Scenario #2 seems more likely (though I have not heard anything about it), but why they would be giving out this "you need to build your credit" BS is beyond me...

I would think/hope SBR could get a straight answer from them without having to wait for a complaint to be filed.

I did a bitcoin payout for 1,000 from bookmaker on Tueday 1/7. I know they only allow one Bitcoin deposit per week, however, I have over 10,000 in my available balance and intend on making a rather large payout request via Bitcoin as soon as the 7 day period is over (as long as I don't get killed in playoffs this weekend). They better not screw me here.

My Bitcoin withdrawel was taken away as well, I was encouraged to deposit and withdraw through Bitcoin as well. I just got off the phone with the customer service department and she told me they stopped that option for now, which is total bullshit. They need to be held accountable for paying out through this method or offer higher limits on MO and offer it for free as our Bitcoin withdrawels are supposed to be. This is a disgusting move by bookmaker.

I just spoke with another CSR and they told me the option would be available again after my 7 day period is over (had a withdrawel on 1-5) I will update when the time period is finished and if the option is available.

bitcoins are the best thing that has ever happened to offshore betting. Bookmaker for some reason decided to take it away. For any other book it's the quickest, cheapest and most efficient way to withdraw and deposit.

There is a direct bitcoin telephone number for payouts that management encourages players to call: 1-855-535-4947.

There has been a large uptick in bitcoin transactions recently as can be expected, so there's been some technical delays and BigBollocks got some below average customer service. We're told within two weeks the process will be more streamlined, but players are encouraged to call the direct bitcoin line for payouts if encountering any problem in the future.

I see the option back up on the Justbet cashier. Still not at Galaxy.

Called the number to try to put in a withdraw request at Galaxy and they gave me some garbage about being at "level 1" due to not putting in enough action (I've bet mid-six figures in the past month alone). Ridiculous.

Edited to add: I requested an amount I would need to bet to move up to the next level, and they could/would not give me an answer.

Edited again: They claimed bitcoin was not an option for deposits OR withdrawals, yet it is still in the deposit options menu (and I have used it recently).

You can easily get that overturned. There is always a moron CSR that gets off on telling people they can't get there money. As long as you mostly deposit through bitcoin there should be no issue.
