Why dont they allow a skrill deposit for this promo, i really dont want to be using *********** on a costa rican bookie site lol, and the ** option is annoying as well cause you will get into problems like them saying they never receive money.

I was thinking about using this promo code to make a deposit at BetOnline this weekend using Bitcoin, until I saw this under Cashier Rules:
[*=left]When a player chooses to deposit via ***********, debit card, gift card, or BitCoin s/he will be responsible for reimbursing the company 6.5% of the total amount processed at the time of deposit.
They charge 6.5 percent of my deposit to use Bitcoin?? Wow, I haven't heard of any other book doing this. Has anyone experienced this?

I deposited $500 a few days ago and they credited my account $462 and then charged my CC $533.
I emailed them about it 2 days ago and they got back to me today and said that they had given me a $19 credit. I emailed them back and asked about the other $53. I had not deposited there in a couple of years and I had never been charged a fee to deposit before so I'm curious as how they will handle it. It's not much money and I won't whine if they don't credit me, but I doubt I would ever deposit there again if they don't.

They credited me back for the difference in full today. Now I am aware of the 6.5% charge and how to avoid it in the future.

It's probably about not wanting to offer bonuses to international players.
Many US facing books don't.

you might be right, but these same us facing books still offer bonuses to international players on other deposit methods like bitcoin or p2p, yet they exclude ewallet deposits.

Not sure about that. Personally as an Australian they either say no bonuses at all or they dont want me full stop much of the time.

It's easier for them to deal with a specific type of player, I get it.
But what makes neteller/skrill different? The book must have less control over what happens with that money, so they funnel players into deposit methods that are deemed to have 'more business sense'. I think it's some form of a scam. Going to read up on this book, and surely will avoid them at any sign of danger.

Your post did not translate very well Italiano. Think you might want to consider learning BitCoin. Probably will help you a great deal in dealing with US focused sportsbooks.
Be prepared to have your money held hostage for a month. Jus saying...

So, I mean, I deposited in betonlie with w.u, the operator told me that they covered all the expenses, but only paid the commission, and not the exchange fee that I pay with **, moral of the story. m not, i want to return about 100 usd, the exchange rate with w,u is 1.04. instead the real exchange rate is 1.118, of course euro.usd

You want BetOnline to refund you for the exchange rate? Don't think that is going to happen. Just one of the risks of exchanging foreign currencies.

Exchange rate premium fees really piss me off too.
But it isn't the books issue.

italiano, the book who doesn't allow opening account in your own currency isn't worth the trouble
you will lose 5-10% with EACH deposit or withdrawal ...no bonus is worth it

boys, they said in the chat, covering all expenses with W.U., in my country this is for me also a cost, I sent in a euro amount, which according to the real exchange rate, must be turned into usd, I repeat, with the real exchange rate, if W.U. applies a return, including tax, for me it is a cost that must be Restitutus by BetOnline.
also I agree with .Grivas_Digeni. play in bookmakers with different currency, is becoming unprofitable, do yourself a favor to moneybokers etc etc who earn over us,
finally reported to .kaliboyz. which is the book for you where you should play, you know best book of BetOnline ??? perhaps only 1Vice book

BetOnline cannot be expected to pay on conversions that ** does. Covering the fee for the transfer is a courtesy to cover your expenses to deposit with them. But to expect them to pay on money they do not receive is an excessive expectation. That is just an expense of gambling with a sportsbook that deals with US currency.
