It is frustrating that after this big reshuffle in the UK to do with POC tax, player protection etc - there is STILL no player protection. Just a bunch of overpaid, spineless, incompetent paper pushers pretending to give a shit.
Avoid 12bet, they do not want to payout, insolvent?

#37Sadly the whole bookmaking industry is a complete joke barring Pinnacle, Sbobet and theGreek in my experience. (I am from UK and have no access to American books).
Betfair exchange is also a joke once you have to pay PC. Matchbook exchange are vile and closed my account after stealing 2% withdrawal fee with no notice. Betdaq and Smarkets have little liquidity.
The bookies get away with restricting accounts after 3,4 bets and only welcoming losers.
I am surprised 12bet ruined their reputation by becoming an odds matrix TGP Europe skin, with 12bet UK. Odds matrix bookies should be avoided at all costs.
The UKGC IOM GC and IBAS are a bloody disgrace. They offer consumers zero protection and amazingly tend to side with rogue bookies in disputes. I believe their wages are paid for by the bookies and hence they are not impartial.Last edited by qwaszx123; 04-01-16, 10:05 AM.Comment -

The IOM is a little island with its own government and rules, and despite being almost reliant on the UK mainland for many things, no one there gives a stuff about anyone outside of its piddly little shores.Last edited by Bearly_Legal; 04-01-16, 11:53 AM.Comment -

#46Apparently I wasn't keen enough to read some new reviews about this bookmaker as I registered my account on April 7th and made a deposit of 2500EUR. Didn't place any bets, didn't take any offer, just sent some docs for verification at the end of May. Now my account is closed and funds seized as I have violated their T&C's. That is ridiculous. How stupid of me to register and make such a big deposit
Has anyone had any news with your withdrawals lately? Or everyone's just given up?Comment -

#48I think most people ended up being paid after that incident.
If you would like to fill in a complaint form SBR might be able to help.
At first it looked like some kind of obvious mistake but after reading all of the posts, I started to feel kind of pessimistic.
After having a chat with them, I sent an e-mail describing the problem, but got the same response - account will remain closed and balance will not be returned.Comment -

#49May I suggest you try Bet365, I can't recommend them enough. You won't have any issues with non-payment plus they offer frequent bonuses and freeplays. I have no affiliation with B365 but it's my preferred bookie of choiceComment -

#55Betstars is what Wilsonbet rebranded to and were under the Jennings/TGP Europe umbrella but they have now gone back to Wilsonbet.com as currently just a telephone only betting service. Pokerstars sports betting is now on Betstars.com.
tlc178.co.uk is now TLCBet under tlcbet.com.Comment -

It's been 2 months now since I opened a complaint. I was contacted by Optional as there were some kind of communication issues between my e-mail, but after that nothing.
Today I opened another complaint, I hope I will get response to this one.Last edited by martins123; 08-30-16, 10:51 AM.Comment -
