I made a $300 deposit by Echeck right before the Superbowl to make some wagers. The deposit goes through fine and the money is in my account. A few days later I lose all the money in my account, and haven't logged into my account since.
On Friday, I get a nasty email that the Echeck bounced and that I owe them $300, and threaten that if I don't pay up they're going to send a collection agency after me. They say the only deposit options are Western Union or Moneygram. Neither of these options are convenient for me, thats why I deposited with Echeck in the first place. They refuse to allow me to make another $300 Echeck deposit to cover the first one. Finally they agree to allow me to settle up by doing an interbook transfer.
I email Matchbook to do a $300 transfer, and lo and behold I get a notice that the transfer cannot be done. 5 Dimes' policy is to only accept transfers of $500 or more. They won't allow me to settle up!
This is becoming a joke. I wouldn't normally even consider screwing anyone that I really owe money to. But their nastiness, and ridiculously limited deposit options is making this a huge hassle. And they are blaming me instead of their Echeck proccessor.
