#37Matchbook DESTROYS Betfair and it isn't close. Betfair rapes you with commission fees. Matchbook is great for all US sports. Liquidity is awesome for most major sports such as MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL etc...of course other books may be better for certain things (and that's why you need more than one out) but I place 80% of my straight wagers on Matchbook. Anyone who has access to Matchbook is costing themselves tons of money by not adding it as an out.
It does suck that I can't even get simple answers like this answered in this thead. It's been well known for years that betfair is in the #1 exchange int he world, and when I ask a simple question of why I should go with the competition, it's like pulling teeth to get a straight answer, and the competition's own representative just ignores the question.Comment -

#38Hi Mike,
Honestly I love matchbook. I would play on the site but the methods for withdrawl are brutal. I live in Canada and if I used skrill as a withdraw method I get absolutely abused with the fees they charge. why can you not credit back to a DC or even make bank transfers for any amount over $250 or something like that? Also maybe one free withdraw per calender month Or use ***************, electronic transfers or something. Access to a players funds are paramount and people should be able to withdraw money without the crazy charges by the book or the third party.Comment -

#39Ah okay, I just had a look at MB's website; they do indeed offer a lower commission, yet they offer it on all bets, not just the winning ones. Does MB have as good of liquidity as betfair does?

Kind of came across that you were taking a shot at Matchbook...prob why he didn't answer. Betfair is a good book but again, Matchbook charges way lower commission fees and is great for US sports...almost one cent odds on gameday for MLB with up to 20K on each side.Comment -

#40For most US sports I believe it does..however, the liquidity is at its best on the day of the event.

Sorry, I wasn't ignoring the question, but I think feedback from other Matchbook users on their own experiences can be more convincing than us giving you the hard sell!
Drop the guys an e-mail at feedback@matchbook.com with your username and we'll sign you up for the risk-free, €25 free bet we're running at the moment.
Thanks,

#43Is it possible to deposit or withdraw in the new layout?
Under managing funds the deposit page is there. At first it was completely blank, this was acknowledged by your staff as they had the same issue and was since then fixed. Now different methods show up, but it only appear to be their logo as well as the usual information about each method.
Cant see any withdrawal page either. Using old layout for that is not a major issue.
Tested it on latest Chrome.Comment -

It's working fine for the majority of customers but we have had a few other reports of problems, so we're investigating at the moment.
I'll let you know as soon as I have an update.
Thanks,

#45New site big improvement as I was so fed up with having to change to decimal odds every time I changed page. Mike, does Matchbook have any plans to introduce set betting on the tennis markets?Comment -

We have a lot of new sports and markets planned for addition over the coming weeks and months, including more live soccer, live tennis and live NFL.
Tennis set betting is another market we'd love to add - as an exchange we like to have market-maker support for new markets, so that markets aren't empty when we add them on site - we have a couple of potential leads for tennis set-betting, so hopefully it's something you'll see sooner rather than later.
Thanks,

#49One thing I noticed is when you view your matched bets, it only shows your stake and not stake and what you would win for your stake. The old one had both and that info was useful. Another thing is when you go view unmatched bets, the old version you would be able to cancel the unmatched offers very easily. I did not see an option to cancel my unmatched offers from the page where you can view all your unmatched bets.Comment -

#52Love the new layout. Great job.
BUT what sucks is they dont do book to book transfer anymore. NOT GOOD AT ALL.
My days are numbered there. Its to bad I personally make alot of markets inside the numbers that are already there.
Mike I really hope they change this. Let them know they need to have book to book.Comment -

#53Log in box constantly disappears when trying to get into the site for me in Firefox - making use of secure password generators a pita.
Sorry to say new site looks a cluttered mess.
It just seems really poorly laid out - take a look at Betfair or Betdaq for clarity of markets and ease of navigation - much preferred the old layout in this respect.
Hope the 'classic' site is around for a lot longer or that there's a some major improvement planned for the beta

#57For me matchbook is an excellent option. Nevertheless in my opinion the new site is still in beta modus. I somehow ask myself who were the beta testers? For an exchange I expect perfect overview, customizable view options and very quick access to everything offered. Well, that is what I am missing right now. Seems like you hired the wrong beta testers. An experienced and reputable matchbook user would have not been pleased with the results the time you released the new website.Comment -

#63Quite simple actually, just go to your bet slip, run your cursor next to your bet on the right hand side and an 'X' will show up.....hit that and it's cancelled.Comment -
