That covers the Betis loss even if it stays like this now, one more goal and I'll be very happy!

looks like it's just gonna be a half-profit winner. 45 shots on goal in this game (26 on target) between the two, and 20 corners!!

yeah in theory they should be winning this or drawing at worse. I'll be bold and say that Napoli are over-rated currently. The likes of Montella and Fabio Cannavaro have come out saying that they are favourites to win the Scudetto which I think is absolute nonsense! Napoli's defence is very average, they have a host of full-backs who are not defensively sound - Maggio, Armero, Zuniga and Mesto...they are all attack-minded players, especially the first three and leave a lot of space in behind that can be exploited. In the centre they have Raul Albiol, Britos, Fernandez, and P. Cannavaro to choose from, none of whom are world-class players or IMO anywhere near world class. Obviously Reina on his day can be unbeatable, but he can also drop clangers at times.

IMO, people seem to be ignoring the fact that Napoli conceded two sloppy goals at Chievo and it could easily of been 4 or 5 as the home side had multiple chances which they didn't take. It's also been forgotten that Napoli only drew at home against a side in Sassuolo who had previously lost 7-0 at home to Inter, and then after drawing at Napoli went and lost 3-1 at Parma despite having an extra man for half the game! And they beat a very poor Milan side away which on paper is impressive, but that was only because Balotelli had a slight off-day and missed his first penalty in 23 attempts! Milan had 56% possession, 8 corners to 2, 22 attempts on goal to 9, and Reina had to make 7 saves compared to Abbiati's 1. Then in the CL Arsenal completely outplayed them at Emirates Stadium, and they only scraped a win at home to Dortmund after conceding late despite Dortmund having 10 men for half the game.

Don't get me wrong, there is always going to be the potential there for Napoli to slaughter teams with the depth in quality that they've got going forward. With three decent attacking wing-back options in Zuniga, Armero, and Maggio, then Insigne, Merterns, Callejon, Hamsik, Pandev, and Higuain as attacking alternatives you have to be concerned, especially as Roma are going to have to have an off day eventually. The international break is my biggest concern as it could ruin Roma's momentum, and I think it's been kinder to Napoli as there two key players Higuain and Hamsik didn't go off with their National Team so were able to rest and recuperate. The only Napoli players that did feature in Internationals were their Swiss trio Behrami, Dzemaili, and Gokhan Inler, and then Armero for Colombia. Roma on the other hand had Strootman, Pjanic, and Gervinho all involved - Strootman and Gervinho have come back with slight injuries so may not even start tomorrow and Pjanic played over 150 minutes for Bosnia over 2 important games. So this is a concern and why I'm not betting large on Roma PK, but may add more live-in-play if they are looking like they are in control.

Nancy have got a new Coach Pablo Correa who was a fan favourite when he used to play for the club as a striker along side Tony Cascarino. He played for 5 years at the club and knows what it's all about and will be serious about getting them back in the promotion hunt after being relegated from Ligue 1 last season and starting this one off badly. In addition to that, Clermont have three of their regular back-four unavailable due to being suspended: Lippini (9 apps), Avinel (7 apps), & Da Silva (7 apps). Midfielder Betsch (9 apps) is also out due to injury, and strikers Videmont (5 apps, 1 goal), and Capelle (2 apps) are injured.

So with the defensive absentees for Clermont, and Nancy having a new Coach who has demanded that his team play with a high-intensity I also like the value for their to be at least 1 goal in the 1st half...

Even if he confesses to have changed, Pablo Correa is a strong supporter of a football commitment. "I come with my energy to try to inject a dose of intensity. I will insist on it, because the team needs to increase the intensity to hurt the opponent. This is what saves a duel and take the ball. This is true in all areas of the game is already seen in practice today. This is normal, because the players want to show.We now see in a long time and also match."

With Northern Ireland missing Johnny Evans and Gareth MaCauley I don't see them out-scoring Israel away and the home side will be buoyed after grabbing a draw at Portugal away and won't want to and ruin that by not beating Northern Ireland at home a few days later!

No Zlatan for Sweden so don't see how they beat Germany unless something random happens like an early red card for away side. Germany had great players on the bench last Friday like Sidney Sam, Kruse, Goetze, Draxler, and Hummels so even if they make changes it still going to be a very strong team with players who will keen to impress. Schweini's 100th game as well.

Chateauroux win/draw (double chance) @ -131 at home to Caen...

Having a stab at this as Chateauroux is usually a tough place to go to - last season they only lost twice at home, one loss was a tight 3-2 loss to Angers who managed to score two goals in injury time and Angers ended up coming 5th in the league, and then they lost 4-0 to Nantes but Chateauroux only had 10 men for half the game, and Nantes ended up getting promoted to Ligue 1. This season they've had one slip up at home when they were whooped 4-0 by Tours so hopefully that's their one big loss per season at home out of the way!

My other reason for playing it is because Caen have some key players unavailable due to combination of injuries and suspensions. The regular central defensive partnership consisting of Wague (9 apps, 1 goal) & Felipe Saad (9 apps) will be broken up as both are out. In addition to those two, midfielders Rothen (8 apps, 1 goal), Agouazi (10 apps), and strikers Kodjia (10 apps, 2 goals), & Nangis (2 apps) will also be missing. I'm thinking Chateauroux scrape a 1-1 draw which has been the common result when these two have met previously. The last 5 games between these two in Chateauroux have ended a draw, and 4 of them have been 1-1 each time!

                Seems to be a back-and-forth game, Botafogo have had 11 shots on-target, 7 off-target, Vasco have had 9 on-target and 4 off-target.
Decent enough weekend, should of had more confidence in Roma though and gone bigger. Man Utd only drawing was annoying as well as halved my profits.

What's your thoughts so far for CL this week? (btw your conference stats are retarded (in a good way)

I like CHE (no Kevin Prince for Schalke) - ARS (playing VERY good soccer right now) - ATL (Austria shouldnt be much problems, defeat on sat is a bit worrying though) - BARCA (No Balotelli for Milan, and Messi is back) - REAL (JUVE's head will still be spinning from the epic failure y-day and their current form is less then stellar) - PSG (Zlatan show) - GALA (They have Drogba FC Copenhagen doesn't)

                    Torn on CSKA - MAN C , MAN U - REAL S , LEV - SCH & BEN - OLY

yep you are thinking along same lines as myself. I have a parlay of Barca DNB, Galatasary to win, and Atletico to win so far. Really a must win game for Galatasary, and I actually think the Atletico loss at wknd may be a good thing as Simeone will give them a kick up the ass and hopefully will serve as a wake up call. Had they of comfortably won that game at Espanyol then they may have then gone to Austria thinking it would be a walk-over, but now they will want to rebound with a big performance.

Chelsea is very tempting seeing as Boateng, Farfan, and Huntelaar are all out for Schalke, and potentially Jermaine Jones and Marco Hoger as well. Always a very tough place to go to but with Schalke's dodgy defense combined with injuries Chelsea really should be getting a draw at worse so will probably play the Chelsea DNB.

Will be looking at the BTTS and/or Over 2.5 lines for Arsenal/Dortmund, Man U/Sociedad, Lev/Shakhtar

                                      Kevin Prince Boateng
Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng will start training with his German side Schalke today (Monday) after recovering from the injury, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 26-year-old hoping that he will be fit enough to face English side Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League tomorrow as he is the club’s key player in continental competition.
Boateng missed Schalke’s 3-2 win over Eintracht Braunschweig on Saturday because of a knee injury, ending suspicion that he faked injury to avoid the crucial World Cup playoff win over Egypt in Kumasi last week.
He also missed Sunday’s training session at the Gelsenkirchen but the utility player has now recovered from the setback and he is ready to start training today.
“Kevin will be back on board on Monday,” Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt said.
Coach Jens Keller of the Bundesliga side Schalke added that his injured two regulars Kevin-Prince Boateng and Timo Hildebrand are looking very fit for the Chelsea challenge.
“With Timo he looks very good, with Kevin also good,” Keller said after the 3-2 win at Eintracht Braunschweig Gelsenkirchen.
Boateng was not even part of the travelling party to the Eintracht-Stadion for the 3-2 victory in Saturday’s German Bundesliga match.
This shows that he has not recovered from the knee injury that kept him out of the Black Stars’ 6-1 win over Egypt on Tuesday.
The midfielder sustained the injury just two days before he was supposed to have joined the Black Stars to prepare for the Egypt match.
The timing of the injury prompted fears that he had faked the setback to avoid the tough match while preserving his hopes of playing at the 2014 World Cup which guarantees huge publicity.
This revelation puts an end to the suspicion that he is fooling Ghanaians to enable him play at the World Cup which has got a higher profile.
Boateng has been accused of picking and choosing which matches he wants to play for Ghana and avoids tough qualifying matches in Africa.
But the midfielder has genuine knee problems which have seen him undergo surgeries for about SIX TIMES on the troublesome left knee.
The Schalke midfielder suffered a knee injury while playing for the German club during a league match two weeks ago.
Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah was hoping further tests on the left knee problem could clear Boateng to play for Ghana in the match.
But the tests in Germany revealed that Boateng must undergo treatment for the injury which meant he will not be available for the match against Egypt.

On Sunday returned goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand (lumbago) and U.S. international Jermaine Jones (knee problems) one day after their forced breaks at promoted Eintracht Braunschweig (3:2) into the training of the Royal Blues back.

On Monday sporting director Horst Heldt also announced the re-entry of Kevin-Prince Boateng (knee) in the preparation. While Jones (knee problems) could complete the entire program, Hildebrand trained initially dosed.
                                        Knee problems Hoger

More concerned prepares the leaders Schalke against further infringement by Marco Hoger. The midfielder had to be substituted in Brunswick before half-time (36) the game with thick bandaged right knee and taken to hospital on Saturday night. An MRI should provide information about the injury.
"Marco has been kicked and twisted it the right knee," Heldt said. "The knee was unstable. Marco could only run in one direction. That does not sound good in any case on."

So they are 'in' but unclear wether they start, more then likely then they'll be subbed in later in the game.

I dont think they will, looks like they are just keeping it tight and waiting to counter, not created hardly anything

Teplice are just letting Brno come at them knowing that they aren't good in final third
