Right, it is the end of the international break and Boro hit the road for their 6th game of the season.
We have 11 points from 5 games but have some issues, not least our striker situation, we don't have any but Emnes.

I feel this will hinder our productivity away to Burnley and we'll struggle massively to make any impact.

I see the 6/4 on burnley a great price and they are well worth a unit as a dnb @ 5/6

Oh dear, first loss and now 5-1 on the season. We clearly dominated that game too and our start to the season is fantastic, boro fans are loving life right now.

Onto this weekend, and we face a solid Palace side away. Worryingly we are favourites, never a good spot especially since we have won 5 straight away games and palace are strongest at home.
I like both the draw and under. Hard to choose which but the +0.25 on Palace looks value, because all good things come to an end, and for once, we didn't dominate in creating chances last week, just possession so i feel Palace are good for a point at least.

Smogs you're definitely a typical boro supporter. Where's the optimism gone?? Saying that, I think I'd take Palace to qualify tonight. Looks like Emnes will be rested while Bennet is suspended and Ikeme is ineligible.

I knew we'd lose last night, the carling cup is something we must forget with the size of our squad.

I'm now 5-2, with the last two losses when i've bet against us, but tbh - we will start to drop back soon enough. This squad has quality, but very little off the bench and unless scotty M can start scoring, i do worry. Thank god we've kept clean sheets on the road 3 times already!

This week, having suffered two losses because Boro won twice on the road, i'm going to go for a third time that we'll struggle.
Basically, Ipswich may have turned their season around having beaten coventry and we're going to start losing games, and to be honest, i don't mind losing money if we then go and win - but i assure you, this is a banana skin. We always lose to Ipswich and last year's opening day was no different.

Well, the games are coming thick and fast and i'm going to keep the winning run up with tonight's pick.

Middlesbrough vs Leicester - Half Time Draw @ 11/10

This game is one i really can't find and angle on so i'm going for the HT draw, wanted to go for the full draw but really have no clue how this one will turn out, so half time draw seems a safe-ish bet

Record as it stands: 6-2 +4.4U

Reading vs Boro - Reading at 6/4

I have to go against boro this week after the offensive efforts we have displayed the past 2 weeks. We are still the only undefeated side in the league, but two 0-0 draws at home, albeit against tough opposition makes me think we'll struggle this week.
2 years back we won 2-0 at reading, but last year we were embarrassed 5-2 before going on our storming run last season. I feel this game could start another run for us, a bad one, as the goals have dried up and we rely ever more on a defence that i don't believe can last the whole season unscathed.
Reading have a lot of speed and technical ability, and won at bristol city midweek, so i think the price on them is fantastic this weekend and well worth a shot.

Well that was a nice win to see Boro have and now i'm at a loss for the game at Southampton. With them off a midweek cup game i actually like Boro's chances at this price, but i'm going to leave that market alone completely.

A tough one because we should win, but Watford off two straight wins sets them up nicely.

I'm going for a half time draw, it's on SKY, neither side will be too adventurous and at 6/5 it's a good price.
