#49Win besides....Ned looked very ugly for a 3-1 lead. Cant envision a scenario besides 0-0 Germany Spain tie and 1-0 in penalty shots where I dump another unit on Ned. in this world cup. So high on Ned before this very ugly performanceComment -

#53agree, EP, and you know your footy better than i. after USA, Dutch are my rooting interest, but must agree that neither Germany nor Spain will be left shaking by this performance. i think they can beat Spain, esp if the Spaniards keep inexplicably sticking with Torres, if Germany keeps up their form and NED plays like this, Orange will be in trouble.Comment -

#55Uruguay have had a lot of balls tonight. I'm impressed. They have gave their all. Respect to them. I personally under-estimated them with 4 regulars missing. Great Game!!!!!Comment -

#58Have Holland cut a deal with the devil
Is their no offside where this linesmans fromwhat a joke that second goal was.
I can't wait for the winner of Spain or Germany to send this team home crying, going to be a nice bet.
Anyway the +1 pushed for the Uruguay backers.Comment -

#60The time keeping in this sport is really a mockery. The ref gave Uruguay TWO full minutes after stoppage...even when the ball was kicked out of bounds and play was inactive...the ref basically just calls the game whenever he pleases.
Missed offsides, offsides called when it shouldn't have been, missed goals that were blatantly good, bullshit cards, the ref calls the game when he pleases; Is there any objective officiating in this sport?
As soon as play is inactive or the ball is turned over after stoppage with no threat of scoring, call the game, period.
I was screaming...about to punch my mother fukin TV. That was CLOSE to getting tied up...
Total joke.Comment -

#62Yeah, it was NOT offsides... give this win to The Netherlands, they earned it. You can't take anything away from them, all they've done is BEAT EVERYBODY! For like 25 matches in a row or something.
I'm starting to like them to win it all actually.Comment -

#63Not a stunning performance from either side, but the complete package was a good game, had a small bet on Netherlands to win by 2, not useful from Perreria. Slightly ridiculous in terms of the neverending stoppage time.
The Dutch haven't looked that good in any game so far, but they've won them all, don't count them completely out of the final.Comment -

Although it's a billion pound business, for some bizarre reason FIFA apply rules based on the game being run in the 1930's.
I know it's frustrating, but until Heil Blatter comes around to 21st century sport, the game of football will always be run by a swatch watch and the vision of a referee and linesman with slightly less than 20-20 visionComment -

#69I actually think of the two teams on the other side, Spain would be the bigger pain in the ass for the Dutch. No possession = no chance. Germany's brand of play I think would suit the Dutch much better. They need an open game.Comment -
