these refs are far away from being on the international level. Thats what u get if every nation sets a ref. The most important cup should be leaded by the best refs and that should been the fifa refs who have experiences in champions-league and europa league.

Yes, if this ref gets another game, lock in those yellow card and red card bets.

Edited to add: if I was the Swiss I'd be doing some serious flopping and acting when tackled in the second half, the ref will feel pressure to give a red card the other way after that shocker in the first half

He must ref the under 15 girls league before being called up for world cup duties.

The only way this ref can get worse is if he pulls a 180, just like the US game....except he won't be calling nothing in the 1h and then phantom calls in the 2h. He'll become afraid to influence the game even more - and dirty play will take over until he's forced to send someone else off.

Ugh this has 0-0 written all over it unless we see a penalty.

Doesn't always mean anything. See New Zealand. Hopefully for Chile backers, they can finally finish one and not end up being like the Italians yesterday. The under is still showing a lot of faith in the Swiss.
