My dad loved '82. I was 4 when the WC took place in the USA so don't have much idea. Heard from a lot of people that that was boring too.

This world cup has been boss. Some great attacking and defensive displays and no team taking a beating lying down like Saudi Arabia and the likes.

This world cup has been shit and poorly officiated only korea in 2002 was done worse by officials. Most of the big name star players didnt show up and the bracket was set up horribly allowing Brazil/Holland a free shot at the final while Germany/Spain/Argentina/England were all on the other side. North Korea lost 7-0.
