Dont ever doubt the power of the Nelson Mandela factor!!! If the legend shows up at the game, the mexicans are screwed

Rugby World Cup 1995 - No one said we had a chance, SA got to the final against the powerhouses from New Zealand ... Madiba Magic is full effect and the rest is history!

    VIVA SOUTH AFRICA ... VIVA!!!

Nelson Mandelas step daughter (I think) died yesterday so I heard he won't be attending the opening ceremony.

ive never bet on soccer, probably wont start today either, but i feel like an idiot cause i cant figure out the way the lines work.. the point spread for this has SA Pick (+110) . MEXICO Pick (-140) .... but then the moneyline shows SA +200 . MEXICO +140 . DRAW +225 --> someone please explain to me why, if you want to bet on Mexico, that you dont bet the +140 instead of the PICK(-140) .. if pick and moneyline are the same then why are the lines skewed??? PLEASE HELP IM AN IDIOT!!

Hey HighFive, if you bet on the Mexico +140 you take the chance of losing the bet if the game ends in a draw, that's why the juice is sweeter because there's less of a chance of winning. If you bet on the Mexico -140 and the game ends in a draw then at least you get a push on the play. Make sense? With this game you can probably take a chance on it ending in a draw and just lay some cash down on Mexico +140.

In one hour at Betjamaica, the odds for Mexico ML went from +135 to +155. Something happened?

Mandela is not attending the match since his great grand-daughter died in a car crash yesterday.

I'd be shocked if Mexico didn't pull out a result. They're hungry. I hate them, but they're hungry.

                              South Africa 4-5-1
                              Mexico 4-3-3

Mexico's formation is going to score a goal. I would be surprised if this game ends in a draw.

i bet on mexico but somehow i want s africa to win this game
the world cup is such a huge opportunity for the country and it would be great for the tournament if the host country would get the win in the opening game.
Anyway i hope we will see a great match.

South Africa have a decent team, and with the home backing i think it will be quite a even match
