damn my girlfriend is sick, I'm going to be taking flack for going to vegas... why do girls always 'test you' on commitment during the key sports times? She was 'sick' on super bowl sunday too.

Flamingo is not bad and is located right in the middle of the strip

Flamingo is an excellent location, but their sportsbook sucks. It is in the heart of the strip basically, so you can't go wrong staying there. You should stay there, or ballys or another cheap place, and just go to another sportsbook. You can walk to the bellagio mgm, or use transpo to go to the hilton. As you know, it's dumb to waste money on a room you're hardly gonna be in.

The Flamingo's location is the selling point. You're right in the middle of everything else, and it's easy to get to the 'best whatever' in a few minutes walk. You're never in your room in Vegas unless it's to SSSS (sleepshitshowershave).

It's $36 because there are a billion hotel rooms in Vegas, and during non-peak times, they've got to really drop the price to get folks in the door.

No way i would pay an xtra $100 to "UPgrade" (not even sure it's an UPgrade) from Flamingo to the Trop....no way. The Flamingo is a shithole but it's centrally located & Bally's, Bills, Bellagio, Ceaser's, Harrah's, Imperial Palace & Mirage are have books & within minutes walking distace of Flamingo.....$39 is a steal~

I stay at americas best value in, accross the street from MGM. No sports book and not one slot machine. Plenty of hookers and drugs.

Damn I paid $25 a night and thought it was cheap , hot wings there were pretty good lol , what month did you go ? I'm looking up and it ain't cheap to stay at the Hooters in June , $75 avg night . I may stay at El Cortez $45 avg night but its in downtown though .

$59 avg night in June ,never stayed there but place is worst then the Hooters I heard

Flamingo is solid and I will be there tomorrow night. They are building a Carlos and Charlies right beside the 'book so there is a lot of construction and most of the seats (and Keno area) are gone. The pool is also open but the weekend is supposed to be cold.

March Madness always drives the price of rooms wayyy up. Even IP isn't cheap. Thank goodness for comps.

Small sports books are always crap, with the exception of PH, I rather enjoy theirs. Small, very small actually, but it's located next to a bar and a Pinks, so that gets my personal rating of it a big jump.

A very under rated place off the strip is GOLD COAST.
Next to rio and across from palms.

Free shuttles to strip, good sportsbook. Good place
