I had this same talk with my old room mate who was a part time vegitarian. I told him if the tomato plants had vocal chords they would scream bloody murder when you pulled the fruit off it. He didn't understand, too simple minded. Some people never get a chance to leave the box and look at it from the outside.

I want a tshirt that says "vegetarians eat children". i doubt many people would understand it, though
