Now, if we have a losing night, it's all jsell's fault. There seems to be this dreaded forum curse whenever people start posting their plays, so as fukktarded as it sounds, I don't like to post my plays, lol. The plays are (these are the actual plays that should be bet; the capper went the other way, so the play that I post is the actual fade. for instance, mike wynn's play is on memphis): Mike Wynn (freeplays) NBA [516] NEW ORLEANS PK-110 Ray "The Playmaker" Bowden (free-picks) MLB [956] COL -205 TV Hotline (freeplays) NBA [513] MIAMI -10½-110 Fred Callahan (free-picks) NBA [508] ORLANDO -11½-110 Arthur Ralph Sports (freeplays) MLB [967] BAL +165 Big Time (freeplays) MLB [966] TOTAL u8½-105 (MIN vrs TOR) #1 Sports (freeplays) NBA [521] LA CLIPPERS +5-110 Dave Cokin (freeplays) NBA [522] PHOENIX -5-110 The last 2 plays cancel each other out (clippers/phoenix), which is why they're separated from the list, and not being bet.

Nothing wrong with taking the RL; I use it whenever it just feels right. I have no basis on when I'll use it. I'll take a look at the RL vs ML, and if my instinct says to take the RL, then I do. Today, it said to take ML, heh. But for jsell's tracking purposes, I listed exactly what the plays should be. I don't want him to have a heart attack or anything if one of the plays was wrong.

Heh, I guess the curse doesn't really exist. It just seems like when I stop posting what I'm playing, I win. And when I start posting what I'm playing, I start losing. So, I quit posting my plays. I still win, and I still lose, so there isn't truly a curse. I like it better this way anyway. People can lookup the plays from that capper and do their own work, run their own labbys, etc.

Anyways, I was wondering if you guys have a target each week in mind where you stop betting for the week? Or do you play the labby method 7 days a week? I like to lock up a winning week and guarantee getting paid the following friday, but maybe I'm leaving money on the table.. Originally I was gunning for $500/week, however I'm at $350+ and figured why not take few days off n start again strong Monday?

Life gets in the way sometimes, heh, family obligations and stuff like that. I like to make $500/week, and if I do, I tend to slow down alot, because I like cashing out and showing my wife the money I've made, and she always likes going to the spa or shopping or whatever.

Ive only been following his picks on his website and those posted on usafreepicks.net for 2 weeks now, and he is AWFUL (aka terrific fade). I was just wondering if maybe you had some stats on him?

I'm 3-and-3 at the moment, but thanks to the Miami Heat (and Arthur Ralph) looks like I'm 4-3. Everything else in limbo or late-starting.

All is good, do what you are comfortable with. In the end you will kick your own ass when you "leave money on the table"; and you'll congratulate yourself when you pull back and watch your fades lose. It will all even out. Personally, I like to play every day I can. But if I've got other commitments (travel, social events, etc), I don't worry about skipping a day or two.

"IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER", in the big scheme of things. (Did anybody else just hear Bill Murray in "Meatballs" just now?) Perhaps most important is to NOT let the betting take over your life.

I hear ya..I didn't place any bets I'm taking off till monday and I'm just going to track how the picks do. I'm thinking of starting Monday by fading all those either coming off a win or winning streak. I've been pretty disciplined as far as quitting when I am up; I definitely look forward to collecting free money every 7 days. So forget about leaving 'maybe' money on the table when I can put guaranteed money in my pocket!

i personally don't fade all plays myself. You notice at header it said my plays for 4/1. I do tail some cappers and fade others. I perfer a mix of the 2.

Everyone has their own way of doing things. If a person wants to fade bad cappers that's ok. I like to tail good ones and fade bad ones together. Why would i fade NSA that is hitting at 58.7% so I tail him. Wynn is hitting at 39.5% so I fade him. Most of the guys in this forum was interested in cappers to fade so I provided info that i have saved over the past 5 months. What people do with this info is their own choice. Let's make some $$$

Metsin...I went 16 and 5 Tuesday through Thursday, then gave a little back yesterday when I went 5 and 7. I wiped all my labbies clean and strarted from scratch yesterday, and I had Baltimore at +171, so that eased the pain a bit. I had 12 bets out yesterday...can't say whether it was "too many" or not, but I'm gonna follow through today.

Good for you for having the restraint to take your winnings and relax. I like to get out every day, because even a losing day is just one step closer to a winning day.

You can verify all of the picks yourself if you question the integrity of the posters; simply stop being so useless and lazy and you can check yourself mostly at freeplays.com.

It seems like you are just a loser who is desperate to find picks to play without having to think or do anything for yourself..the other guys on here post info and it is up to you to do what you want with it.. If you're going to complain EVERYDAY, why not just go elsewhere?

I really don't like trading insults but you make it exceptionally difficult when you come across as such a misinformed j*rk; I find it amazing some guys like chili STILL show you patience after you accuse them of being a fraud.

Metsin, I've come to believe that spreading a few more smaller bets on more pickers is less risky than increasing bet size. Just my personal take. But let's face it, finding good handicappers is difficult, but there is NEVER a shortage of bad 'cappers.

The only thing with fading a lot of cappers is you get more plays "canceled out" because the cappers choose opposing sides. Whether that is eventually a good thing or a bad thing is up for debate. But on this note I've passed on a few fades because my "professional" picker chose the "fade side" of a bet, and ended up losing the bet on the pro and missing the win on the fade. (The other night I had two "pros" pick Alabama, but so did all my "fade" pickers. I tossed a coin and ended up deciding to fade and take Wichita State, much to my eventual delight. Since then I've taken fewer bets by the pros and increased my play on fading losers; I've also paid less attention to my "pros" when choosing my labby fades.

9 bets out today, hoping to labby my way back from yesterday's minor loss. Good luck to you and all!
