Should i ditch my laptop for an iPad

I just got one...tonight i started with the ipad and ended with the laptop which i'm on now

also fyi to the flash issue...you can't get in the sbr casino on an ipad....but maybe thats a good thing

Just got my iPad2 delivered today. Was supposed to have been here 2.5 weeks ago. Seems very cool so far. Camera is great.

You can get flash on the iPad/iPhone...it just needs to be jailbroken. I think a lot of you guys are mistaken on the thread though. I would still have my desktop so the iPad would stil be my second option behind my desktop

Not exactly. It's very complicated and very tricky and very buggy and will drain your battery and you can't use it for video playback. In other words, not very useful. So no, for all intents and purposes, no flash on ipad, and probably never will.

I love the way Xoom syncs and runs everything Google. Google kicks Apple's ass. And yes, I do own an ipad, but now that I have the Xoom I'll never use it again (wife appreciates that).

I am very Pro Apple and use nothing but their products. I own an Imac and two Macbooks along with the Ipad. I rarely turn my Imac on anymore and the only reason I use my Macbook's are for writing reports. If I didn't have to do that I would be very happy with just my Ipad. It all depends what you need it for. If you just want to mess around on the net etc and are done with School and don't care about watching a DVD movie on your laptop just get an Ipad, they are pretty sweet!

isent it because there is conflict between apple and adobe, in regards to them being competition in the photo shop world?.. and apple not wanting to promote or work with the competition, so they choose to sell inferior product to the consumer?..

Funny everyone here saying IPAD 2 sucks, but everyone I talk to like them and every rating list I go to, critics has the IPAD2 as the best. So many different choices out there, someone said IPAD2 doesnt have flash? Really, how can that be, which would mean I can view live scores on sports or stream sports, how can that be.

You could, but it's definitely more of an entertainment thing. I don't like typing out long e-mails through the iPad, or using any word processing, but it's fun for games and surfing the web and watching movies, sure.
