boys, it just dawned on me.. not only were there no blacks in 50's and 60's cartoons like flintstones, jetsons and bugs bunny, but what about 70s sitcoms..
The Brady Bunch.. not 1 fukkin black ever.. not even any of bobby, peter or greg's friends from school.
The Partridge Family.. not 1 black ever
Happy Days.. Not 1 black guy ever at Arnold's or any of the boys friends from school.. not including Sticks of course.. remember him? the only black guy ever to appear on Happy days.

I watched all those shows, don't remember a black on Happy Days.
There certainly was segregation in the tv industry, but the 70's weren't far removed from the turbulent 60's. Civil Rights Movement. Blacks didn't even have the right to vote until 1960-something.Comment -

i think hollywood now makes sure there is always 1 black guy in every show. .i still say it was racism back then. no one wanted them in their shows.. blacks were not welcomed in the U.S in that time.. especially during the 50's and 60's..Comment -

I'll correct something up there. I think Black people had the right to vote well before the 60's but something was done to dissuade them from voting. They were singled out for something.Comment -
