The fact is that he inherited a strongly improving economy from Obama after he'd weathered the GFC storm that he'd inherited.

The best that can be said for Trump's contribution is that he didn't tank it. At no point was there any inflection point to justify claims that he'd boosted the economy.

Then came his disastrous monstrous tax gift for the billionaires and corporations who did very nicely and have ever since been boosting their wealth at the expense of middle and lower income Americans.

And of course his crazy tariff trade war.

Then came the covid pandemic. But already the national debt which he said he'd eliminate was ballooning.


Vance kept stupidly asking why VP Harris hadn't already brought in her economic policies.
Anyone remember a VP who was responsible for implementing significant policy decisions?


Then there was the repetition of his claim that Trump saved the ACA.
Yep the say guy who said on day 1 of his Presidency that he was terminating it.
It was John McCain who saved it.


And his closing statement amounted to nothing but blaming Kamala for the high interest rates experienced during the current administration!
