Are you, or have you ever been an American citizen? If not, we really don't care about your opinion on how we vote. You have no voice. Most that post in these threads are Americans I would assume. I'm not saying you should not post in them, but telling us how and when to vote, you will never have a say in.

In Tennessee, we have early voting (state is run by at least 70% GOP). Before we had early voting, even in my small county you could stand in line for over 2 hours to vote, sometimes 4, depending on what all was on the ballot.
Now voting starts 20 days before the election and runs until 5 to 7 days before election (depending on what kind of election). Then is cut off until election day. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes since early voting started.
You want my 85-year-old mother and people who are handicapped and disabled to wait 2 to 4 hours in line to vote. WHY?
You go to the same voting location, and the same people are working, and you vote the same way, without the long wait. Plus, the workers have more time to make sure everything is correct with being in a rush and making mistakes.

Only an unreasonable person would be against this.
You better believe, if the nut jobs that run this state, had not already seen, how Benefiel it is, before all the crazy started about voting, we never would have it. It's a wonderful tool to help people, instead of hurting them, when exercising their right to vote. So many, in country and out, want to take that right from them.

They can request and register a special form several months ahead of time. For those who can't get out of health issues etc or old age. That could be a solution. The State shouldn't be able to mail out millions of ballots or allow people to ballot harvest.

In the two States I have lived in, when registering to vote, you have to prove you are a citizen. When you show up to vote, you have already proved that. But you need a state issued ID, or Government ID to vote.
The ID part is bullshit with today's tech. They should take your picture and have it in the computer system, when you show up to vote, they already pull your page up anyway, and your picture would now on it. Problem solved.
