Hey guys, just found this thread after Peavy told me about this. Fatty, if you are ever in the Rochester neighborhood we could play and put out a video for SBR also! I am currently 42, and play at 5.5 level so would need to give you a 30-0 lead in each game to make it competitive if we were to throw down a friendly wager. Do you play at one of the Lifetime clubs in the cities?

Wonder how the pay day loan laws are in Minnesota, I know I’m Washington state you can only get a few a year I believe….. when I was younger in Washington state about 15 years ago or so they were on every corner….. I remember getting like 7 in one day from all different locations and no I never paid them back…. What’s your protection on that? Do you make so much from Interest alone you just cut your losses? Pretty annoying to sue someone over 700 dollars….

Interest limits have been made legislatively, but the push to prohibit the business dies because TCF (now Huntington) got out of the business about 10 years ago. TCF was the 'Spirit Airlines' of local banks here. The other large players are pretty strict on closing negative accounts after 30 days, which makes that person unbankable going forward, hence the need for my shops

In addition, MN has a large illegal community, both rural in the fields and urban areas with Somali & Latino, both do work, but use fake SSNs, which makes them unbankable

1st Data has a program where we can ACH accts w *************** at 1AMand that's 2 hours before the customer themselves could, so our default has been reduced dramatically over the past decade, as for collection, we just bundle the bad loans and sell them for 20 cents on the dollar.

If there's a few decent sized ones, I'll do a small claims date myself and get judgments against a handful of debtors. Usually 2xs a year I just like up 5 or 6 small claims cases on the same day & play lawyer.
