why do we have 50+ choices for miss america in the usa but only 2 choices for president? and both always suck, nobody wants wars yet they start them, nobody wants deficits but they make them worse, etc

get people arguing with each other while they're all being stolen from... why do billions of people pay taxes up the ass and never question why they are paying them? here in the usa, before the federal income tax, we had the most prosperous nation on earth

then in the 1950s and 1960s there was actually a 91% tax bracket on anything over $200k/year, that's a primary reason why manufacturing and industry boomed in the usa, there was no real incentive for people at the top to become super-billionaires like bezos/gates/zuckerberg/etc

And then is it really a surprise that once they get into Washington they still have no ideas? So they do what got them there. They throw piles of money at things hoping that will do work. It doesn't of course. Doesn't that explain the 30 trillion debt?
America will be screwed if the US dollar stops being the de facto global currency.

There should be a cap for political campaigns. One million would be a good number. This would ensure more good people could run. The rest of the time the candidates should be talking directly to the people by doing town halls and rallies in person and on TV. Have several real debates. Not like these staged media clown shows at the 11th hour.

and i would also mention that our congress men/women shouldn't have to sign sworn loyalty to israel (as cynthia mckinney and others testified having to do)

the debt is actually more like 100 trillion when you add in unfunded ss/medicare... that's around $1 million for every household in the usa, total silliness that can never be repaid

every fiat currency in the history of the world has failed, and every time it has been when there was hyper spending by lunatics, which led to hyper inflation, which sounds pretty familiar right about now

magic number was always 2%, that's the amount of inflation people can handle without getting too pissed off, even though it slowly deteriorates everyone's standard of living. 1 or 2 generations ago, someone could raise a family of 6 with just the husband working 40 hrs/week... now both spouses work 50 hrs/week just for a similar standard of living with a family of 4

The FDA isnt perfect but they try. They have a long history of being mostly successful. No system will ever be perfect.

My opinion wouldn't change if I knew of one person that died of the vaccine. I've seen dozens die of covid pneumonia/heart failure that were unvaxxed. I've seen 5 young men with vaccine associated myocarditis. All 5 were stable, admitted overnight and released the next day.

Anti vaxxers are extremists of the worst kind.

But my opinion remains the same as it has since day 1, pro-vaccine anti-mandate.
