So before i had my casino meltdown i had a cruise pretty much already booked for this year. It got canceled and i got what was supposed to be 25% credit . They sent me an amount for each room what the credit was . I rebooked with my travel guy at that cruise line and with the credit difference upgraded my wife and my room to the next level and got some room credit and a drink credit . Then my nieces got drink upgrades and room credit too.
So he hands it over to them and there should be no additional cost except the taxes. I booked 3 rooms total . So i did not see the rooms linked together but i noticed our room which should have been 100% covered there was $900 still owed and the amount of credit did not look right. I left a message for our guy and it gets changed. To higher . Now they want $1300+ .
So i call and this lady Susan tells me they made a mistake on the credit . This is after everything was done with my rep at the same cruise line that told me i would owe nothing but the taxes. I asked her how are they fixing this and she says to the lower amount. And the other 2 rooms were wrong too (Their mistake) .
IDK if this is an honest mistake but i feel this was not the deal we agreed on. I left a message for my guy and i told Susan if this is going to cost me thousands more then we already agreed on i was going to probably cancel. Originally we had a Concierge class room handicapped . But the new cruise did not have handicapped. But i figured our credit paid for the upgrade which had handicapped.
My wife has time shares 5 weeks so we can do something else . And if they turn around and want a couple thousand more AFTER making this deal to rebook with them i feel like this is almost a bait and switch . Although it could be an honest mistake . But it is their mistake i do not want to pay thousands more then before i cancelled.
Would you guys cancel if they do not agree to the deal we made already?
