Considering leaving the forum. Racism too rampant at SBR

I’ve remained mostly silent about this for years laying low trying to be “tolerant” of you guys but goddammit you guys are fukking awful and SBR mgmt does very little to manage the hatred around here. However they are in a bind, because if they start moving all your racist bullshit to the saloon then players talk will be empty. I think they’ve been way too easy on you dicks. They’ve said they won’t tolerate racism but I see it every single day.

When I came here I mostly posted in the subforums. Shit seemed pretty cool. I enjoyed talking to folks from all backgrounds. When I gravitated towards players talk I couldn’t believe the racism towards black folks around here. I hoped it would change. I see now that it won’t. There’s good guys here but this seems to be the KKK of sports betting forums. Unbelievable that it’s allowed.

You guys let idiots like jibbby make dumb racist post after dumb racist post. Your mascot jjgold makes the worst racist posts of all. 90% of the rest of your members post racist shit every single day. It’s a fukking joke.

I feel like I can still get some fun/productive talk here but it is wildly overshadowed with hate and I think I’m about done coming around here. I’ve been a member for 11+ years and this is what it’s coming to. It really is sad

Having said that I did have a beef with a certain poster here 2 years ago & got banned for over 6 months for making racial remarks, because OP knew just how to get me to that breaking point. When I came back I did a Drew Brees apology speech to SBR & they decided to give me another chance. So in my case SBR did the right thing & banned me for my posts & held accountability regarding this topic.

I would just leave , it seems you can't take it... there is no point to worry about it. You are dealing with the dregs of society here. I have dealt with racism here since 2006. I have been called every derogatory name there is for being a Jew. I could care less what someone says to me on a forum or in person for that matter. I am here for sports and to interact with others from around the world with somewhat of the same interests. I have made friends off the forum including JJ. I have even traveled with him to Canada years ago. He is the furthest thing from a racist, trust me on that. You can't take things face value of what people write on here. I have no clue the figures here but I would imagine most of the people here are down and out and the bottom of the barrel of society. However, there are some really cool people here. I have good friends I grew up with that make racist comments to me but I just give it back, they are just words and never bother me. I know what I am and I know I am a good person. I look far beyond what some stranger says on a forum in any capacity. If you stay , take this forum for what it is. I love SBR , they have been good to me over the years and I will be here until the end. Good luck on whatever you decide to do!

There is a number of people here who demand anything they dont agree with is censored.

And Hman mentioning party affiliation because these people are constantly demanding political opinions, like "POTUS is dirty rat bastard" or "Leftists should all be killed" be censored under the guise of racism or threatening talk or whatever other BS they can conflate into an argument to say it's SBR's responsibility to not allow that to be posted.
