Floyd pleaded guilty to the robbery where another suspect posed as a worker for the local water department, wearing a blue uniform in an attempt to gain access to the woman’s home, according to the charging document.
But when the woman opened the door, she realized he was not with the water department and attempted to close the door, leading to a struggle.
At that time, a Ford Explorer pulled up to the home and five other males exited the car and went up to the front door.
The report states the largest of the group, who the victim later identified as Floyd, ‘forced his way inside the residence, placed a pistol against the complainant’s abdomen, and forced her into the living room area of the residence.
‘This large suspect then proceeded to search the residence while another armed suspect guarded the complainant, who was struck in the head and sides by this second armed suspect with his pistol while she screamed for help.’
Not finding any drugs or money at the house, the men took jewelry and the woman’s cell phone and fled in their car. A neighbor who witnessed the robbery took down the car’s license plate number.
Later, police tracked down the car and found Floyd behind the wheel. He was later identified by the woman as the large suspect who placed a gun against her stomach and forced her into her living room, the document states.Comment -

EDIT _ How ironic: Floyd couldn't breathe, Masks make it hard to breathe and restrict oxygen. NO-OXYGEN-19. Suppress your mouth. Wear the muzzle. Symbolic of shutting your mouth. Losing your 1st amendment by wearing a mask that shuts your mouth and nobody can understand WTF you say. Now, to wear one with an American flag on it? OMG.

Nah, it won’t matter. Nothing happened in that vehicle that justified the cops actions, or the length of time the employed the technique. The only real problem anyone has is that officer stayed on his neck for 9 minutes, 3 of which he was dead. Even if it was initially justified, it was justified for that long.
and the one cop walks by, checks a pulse, confirmed later he didnt feel one but didnt say a word????
I see the main cop being charged with manslaughter, sentenced to 6 years and serving 3-4 years. Everyone else walks freeComment -

Floyd was a problem and didnt turn his life around like they said. He had 2 drugs in his system, drugs falling out of his pocket, and used a fake bill. Two lessons learned, police must be watched and explained what u can and cant do. Perhaps the bigger one, dont be a career criminal and druggie...that be itself means you have a much much LESS chance of interaction with police.Comment -
Life is not a science of absolutes, but i highly doubt those officers had any intent to kill him or anything close...especially on a main rd, lots of eyes and cameras. The officer knee thought he had him under control and onviously mpt killing him. He was very wrong. Knee guy convicted, other 3 should walk. I dont see anything that suggests a murder is taking place...his asking for help is used as an excuse. New job qualifications police officer with lawyer knowledge and prefer nurse qualification or better and social worker.Comment -
