Trayvon - Walking home,bought skittles and drink,no weapon,approached,won fight,shot to death

Zimmerman - Finally got his wish... gets to approach "one of them" ...has weapon, loses to 95 lb teenager,
kills the person he approached that turn out to be guilty of no crime.

Exactly Sam, and no individual should be on a side in this case. Why are so many people cheering for GZ when they obviously don't know what really happened and these same people were cheering even before this trial started. Now if you are on the dead kids side that is just as wrong. I simply don't understand it, it actually confuses me. Why am I wrong here? Everybody should be on the side of justice. Dante I think some of the mixed feelings come from Flordias laws. If Zimmerman is innocent of murder by the letter of FL law, does that make what he did acceptable? In my mind it does not. And it comes down to this, this whole thing was avoidable. All Zimmerman had to do was stay put like he was told by the 911 operator and he would not have been in a position to have to stand his ground. This is the reason the 911 operator asked him to not follow Martin. because people that know better than Zimmerman know this is what can happen. and its senseless. Remember, Martin did not approach him on his property. Zimmerman followed him and thus was the catalyst for the shooting.
That's my take on it anyways.

Monday is shaping up to be yet ANOTHER round for the Defense.

If this was a fight score card the Prosecution would need a knockout in the last second to pull it out. Swings an misses by the State and every punch landed has been countered with a combo. The Prosecution is looking as goo goo eyed as Anderson Silva did Saturday at his knockout.

Doesn't have to be death even. Law clearly states, in fear of harm or serious injury. Law is the law....once he was on the ground and on the concrete - even if he was the initial aggressor, under the law that justifies him in self defense.
