The sharp forecast has Cleveland beating Boston 122-95. The public gauge has Cleveland winning 111-107.

This Total may have opened a little low, and the books have taken Over bets, but this time the Total made its way to the forecast. I am not one bit surprised to see the public gauge a bucket higher than the current Total.

The situation is still there for public Over bets, and others, to be absorbed by the books, but you can see as each game passes it gets a bit sharper, in a sense.

With sharp bettors sidelined and the public liking the Over and early movement helping to “confirm” that for them, I think it may be a good time for an Under.

Look for analyst style market moving money to suppress this Total to the 216.5 or below point. That means Under buying will come in at 217 but I’m not sure where it will stop (say 216.5 or 216) or if the books will even stop the movement or add to it themselves (say 215.5).

didnt end up betting it for real money though
