Still playing on WGT Fidel/Bets, and just yesterday I bought the high level BB 3W and its da bomb. Almost 280 off the tee, gr8 for Merion, and its an Eagle machine, reaching those par 5's easily in 2 shots. Only thing left for me to buy would be those level 100 Nike Vapor irons, if I live that long.

Remember, it's about time and information. The more time, the more information. Of course, usually, but not always, a sharper line develops as we get closer to tip off. It gets sharper and sharper because threshold of needed information to pull the trigger is different for everyone. In this case, mine is going to be pretty high.
