Phoenix vacation?

Is Phoenix a vacation destination? What places and things to do are on offer their?

I have the chance to tag along with a friend who is going to a medical convention. Staying at the Sheraton downtown. Any advice would be appreciated.

Phoenix is Mexico. Scottsdale has all sorts of nice resorts and great golf courses in the area. Talking Stick for Poker and gambling, nice course as well. Spring training for 2 more weeks.

ya stay in scottsdale lots of great restaurants, bars, golf courses, strip clubs, casinos, etc. should be fun if your into those things. Talking Stick is pretty good casino

What TMS said is right... Scottsdale is pretty awesome area.... Phx isnt horrible, but they have Glendale, Mesa, Scottsdale, and tons of casinos if you gamble.....
