#37You are right
i should have won the first tourny but i got a cold deck.so i should have like another 10000 points.
i thnik all this would have been avoided it from the start of the year this anouncemnt was made.
is not my intention to upset anyone, but i won those points in fair competition.
not taking anything away from your achievements, just saying.
if there are going to be "prizes" they should be stated ahead of time.
kinda like the ryder cup wildcard, number of posts, please thats so lame. and they knew yisman would qualify easily for that tiebreaker.
this is a membership site and these "after the fact" awards doesnt make it seem right.Comment -

I don't have the most posts. pavy and a few others have much more. I did have the most posts of people with at least 500 points earned, which was what it was.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

There will be different ways to measure player ranking, but there's really only one way to slice the "tournament winning" tomato. That's with actual tournament winnings. I wonder what Pro Poker players would say if being told their WSOP finishes were being discounted because the prizes were larger than average.
Reminds me of the ole Herman Edwards interview:

i think the point posters are trying to make is that it would be nice if these types of contests were known ahead of time.
it's like the ryder cup standings some people qualified for WSOP and then quit playing some didn't
if posters knew ahead of time if that is how they are picked they might have played more tourneys or played different as it meant something a little more to win.
just saying....Comment -

put a lot of effort in February, to make it happens, you and the Beerdog99 know that better than anyone else.
luck also has a lot to do, as many times my cards an bluffs worked in my favour as you know.
but in order to make the weekend final game i needed to win!! a satellite, and i did it twice, like many others,
Like i said , i earned those points and fair competition and thanks to SBR i still plaing poker for $$$
The most important thing here is that the competition is not oveer by all means so anyone can make points and get there anytime, but i will continue playing to mantin the leed as is importantfor me this year.
next how kwnos.
i m looking forward to attend the bash and meet some of the poker plaayers.
good luck to allComment -

#61That's why I said you need to include all points won throughout the year in same pot. Feb. championships, Ryder Cup, WSOP qualifiers and final, Royal Flush winners, Ring Tables winnings, etc else is not an overall representation.Comment -

#62Would be cool to see a monthly winnings list as well. And a top 100 cashes list.
Also not sure if this was asked... now that there is a rollover do you need to clear the rollover before your points count toward annual earnings?
One other thing... it would be cool if you programmed an area of the MyForum that you can look at that shows you your current annual earnings in tourneys and in ring games.Comment -

#65I am 72 of the top 100, in the lower 50%. This top 100 is out of how many total? If its only 150 then I would then be in the top 50%

#70The reason that initially they weren't included is because the list generated only points automatically distributed via the software. Ryder was a custom event that had the winnings paid via posting forum transfer.
The list is now inclusive of Ryder cup championship points. 17 adjustments were made within the top 100 as a result.
