Only 51 registered for 1pm? That has to be a record low (for 1pm). There are only 225-250 playing a day now, so our field represents 13-15% of the total field. Crazy.

had the worst luck ever. I don't even know what to say. I hadn't been having much of a problem with DCs lately, but I got like a dozen tonight.

Missed the first blind because it wouldn't let me in. I had to restart poker. Every time I folded, my hand would hit. If I called, nothing hit.

The hand where I got bounced I thought I won. I got dced after the turn, but I had A10 against QK and A10 hit. I guess after the disconnect, a J on the river gave jeffksu a straight. Amazingly bad luck. I've had tons of poor luck before but nothing compared to this.

Finished 18th, and this was a tournament I could've won.

I wish I could show the history of the whole thing. It was pretty funny if you weren't the one it was happening to.

I fold 44 after 2 guys bet huge. Of course, 3567 come.

I folded 5 10 of hearts. Flop was three hearts (no heart on turn or river, giving me a better chance).

Fold Q7, Q7 comes out. Fold 3Q, two threes come out. And many more.

Playing with AJ heads up, disconnect.

Only 33 in the 8pm. May have something to do with SBR being messed up.

Quite a few scoring pretty big point early. Would like to apologize to JeffDane as I and a few others put some really nasty beats on him to eliminate him 11th in the 1pm.

Finished 24th today in 10pm. Was stuck to left of a player who was there but let his time run out to fold every single hand... every one. Was praying to be reseated for 45 minutes but never happened. I won't lie, it got to me and I shoved wiht KQ suited to the tables chip leader who initially raised big and lost. Most frustrating tourney here yet... ugh.

I cost myself actually. I play k10 which should be enough said, but I had been card dead 6 orbits or so & my chip lead was being blinded away. I hit top pair on the flop. tad0matic had been playing Like a Lagtard all tourney. He was also being a calling station. He raised me small, I reraised all in. He had pocket QQ's. It was the first time on SBR I legitimately lost a hand. I was slow rolled so

fukk you tad! But I did lose by own bad play.

My Kid did have a good birthday thanks for everyone asking....

I started with a whimper. I entered the 8pm, which had a record low (?) 33 entries. Like DS said, probably related to the site problems. However, the tiny field worked against me. I got stuck at a tight/passive table. I get KK in the sb and every person folds; I raise small and the bb is gone. A little while later, I get KK in button-1 and everyone folds to me. I raise small and the rest fold. I get nothing but a few drawing hands that don't hit for a while, then get AK on the button. Everyone but the guy immediately in front of me folds. This time I raise fairly big and after the blinds he he calls. Flop is 99x and he min bets, I call. Turn is another 9; min bet, call. River is a blank; one more bet and call. He flips over A9o(!). Probably the first time I've ever seen a 3 outer not only win but catch all 3 of its outs. Over the next 30ish hands, I have once face card (A5o in the bb) and that hand someone went allin ahead of me. So now I'm down to about 4 blinds and have K4o on the button. As usual everyone folds. Level is going up soon, so I'll be down to 2.5 blinds if I do nothing. Knowing these idiots are likely to fold, I allin. sb reraises allin - the first raise he made all game, and I figure I have 3 outs. But he has AQ so I am only 40-60 dog - the best I could have possibly hoped for. Flop is 664 giving me a 3:1 edge. But, the turn+river gives him a runner-runner flush.

Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come.

298 people played today, so 16.8% on entrants finished top 10. We had 7/37 (and some may not have played), or 18.9%, make that top 10. That's better than the field, but I think we can do a lot better.

Very interesting math Thaddeus. I actually think if life didn't distract most of us, and we could play our A game that your statement holds merit. Out of the 37 I know about 10 players on that list make me straighten up & play better just on sight. I would say out of our list 20 players are down right dangerous if given the opportunity. The rest I have no hand history on nor table time save for maybe once/twice. But if they are willing to lay down 50 points no doubt they are someone to watch.
