Poker Disconnects

i have some problem but only when i use my wireless computer.
if i m connected with y desktop i have no problems.
i also have connection issues with the beta test on Sunday

Disconnects start again for me on tonights tourney. Impossible to play flops due to fear of getting disconnected again.

This is brutal.

I love playing but the disconnection issues are really a pain in the ass. Ever 7-10 minutes I get booted.

With PS or FT----I don't recall getting booted once a week.

I think it is a software issue guys.

Still having issues installed on a new comp with a different internet connection still same issues every couple of min disconnect there needs to be a better system in place i cant just forfeit one or two hands a cycle.

Yep it is extremely frustarting. I hope they are still working on this problem. Really hate not being able to use my laptop to play poker.

I've played many times and have been disconnected....the amount of points lost and emotional distress has been staggering. SBR should do the right thing and reimburse me for my pain and suffering

I have been somewhat vocal about the disconnects when using my laptop. For the last few weeks, I stopped trying to even use the laptop as it was useless.

I figured I would give it a shot today and I was never disconnected during the entire time I was in the tournament (finished around 18th).

So if something was changed in the software, in my case at least, it worked for me.

After you fold your hand, it would be nice if you could scroll the arrow over your username at the table and have it show the cards you folded. Not related to disconnects, but have you considered adding that feature to the poker software? Basically every online poker site has that feature and I am sure everyone would agree it would be a convenient addition.

disconnect saved me a bit tonight it foded my QQ when someone had AA that hand woud rather they not be an issue but worked in my favor tonight

The hard part is we get 160 guys a night for a tourney and 150 do not even have one disconnect. But there are a few who do get one or more. As it turns out a couple of guys were found to have a virus, a couple were getting dropped very intermittently by their ISP and a couple more we just can not figure out. I will unfortunately agree if you are one of the handful of guys that are getting disconnected and we can not figure out why then you probably need to not bother playing until your computer and or ISP situation changes.

My Toshiba lap....sbr poker disconnects me every 4 hands like clockwork. I have to log off after three hands and log back in to play.
The other laptop I tried last night Dell...no disconnects or anything like that.

Bug I had in thursday tourney. I was playing and also on the forum. I changed my email address on here and all of a sudden I got errors and could not log back on. I went to live staff chat, the staffer changed my password and updated the databases. I had no problmes then. I will not change any of my personal details while playing sbr poker.

Since the one laptop does well and the other doesnt...maybe it is something on the toshiba...both use same OS

I will make a new thread and stick it after this tourney Thursday. Please let us know if you had any problems. Our main poker programmer is named Scott and personally I think he has done a tremendous job.

well i did the ping test....and it was fine......I submitted all the info requested and never received a response.......same as usual...got booted every 4th hand........I have no other problems on any other poker/game web site i play on. and you are fooling yourself if you think the problem is only 10 people out of the whole tourney field.......

I think there is something in Windows 7 that doesn't jive with the poker software. I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 last night. I never had one problem with the software disconnecting me before today...ever.

I've been playing on windows 7 for 20 minutes and have been disconnected 4-5 times already. Anyone else running windows 7 with a problem?
