    3 card poker question
not sure how many of you all play. But what hands do you play on and what do you
    fold on

Would you ever stay on a queen or king high or does it depend on what hands you had before that or your streak of winning and losing hands in a row.

    thanks

There was a thread about this identical topic a few months ago. Basically, the strategy is play anything that is Q7 or better.

i usually fold on queen ten, seems like the dealer usually has an ace or pair anyway most of the time , or just nothing

I always bet more in the middle then on top though

The strategy for Ante portion of Three Card Poker is very simple. You should fold if you have a hand lower than Queen – 6 -4 and you should continue and make the Play bet if you hand is higher.

This is stat correct way to play--anything else is more edge to the house.

                              Play 4-card poker.

                              Way more fun and profitable.

Anything with a Queen you should play. If the dealer doesn't qualify you still take a push for your play and win on the ante instead of losing everything.

Q64 is the right level. Ante bets using this hand or above will give the house a 3.3730% advantage. Playing anything else will give the house a better edge.

IMO the best source for general info about casino games is the Wizard of odds website... http://wizardofodds.com/threecardpoker

As other confirmed Q/6/4 is when you play your hand...

Only played a few times but not have guessed that you are supposed to play Q64 and up. Worst is when you have a great hand and the dealer does not qualify.

Correct. The California casinos play a version of California 3-card poker where 1 card is visible and 2 cards are down. Of course the payout odds are different to compensate for this.
