Father was a steel worker, mother was a homemaker. Worked from the time I was 15. Worked full-time putting myself thru UT. (which is a big reason I was on the 5 1/2 year plan for my undergrad.) First and only person in my family to obtain a college degree. As for belonging to a fraternity, I pledged because my buddies did, and because I could live in the frat house for less than $100 a month room & board. Best decision I ever made.

Was a member of steelworkers union. Got laid off every few years, and no chance to advance. He was basically lazy, which I'm sure had a lot to do with being in the union. Never wanted to do more than what was required, and always having a bitterness for those that did. Plant closed down in mid-80's.

Very subjective - but easier for you to just call out "lie".

It's not "crap" what document Romney signed 10 years ago. One of GW's main planks was the success of No Child Left Behind in Houston. We found out later that it was bogus (teachers were teaching the test, or outright cheating. Kids who quit school were not counted etc). So if Romney wants to use Bain as his calling card for being the capitalist that can turn things around, what's wrong with finding out exactly what he was responsible for at Bain?

When are we going to see these ads of how Bain created more jobs than they moved/destroyed? We've heard the success of Staples and others - so why aren't there ads detailing this?
