If you want to read a good book on FDR, I suggest a book written by his former son-in law, Curtis Dall, who was often around him during his presidency. The book is aptly titled, My Exploited Father In-Law.

I could write 50 pages of how the economy was a disaster under FDR's first two terms, and the folly of his programs that you so ignorantly laud. Fact is, it was only the dreaded war his handlers started that jettisoned the economy to grow and eventually boom, not his laughable and failed "public works" programs.
