Sedin's absence seemed to affect the team much more than his regular season absence did. Luongo choked a few series' earlier than usual, so that's going to probably spell the end of his career as a Canuck.

You also used some stats to tell us how van was going to win this series. Luongo was solid in game 1 and it was 2-2 with a few minutes left before a flukey bounce gave la the winner (which he had no chance).
In game 2 he was good enough to win the game.
The canucks pulled him to try and spark the team and have a scapegoat for there early exit. Did bringing in schneider help them get a different result?

Let's assume all series leaders go thru in the east. Flyers would play the rangers in round 2. Books don't respect the rangers at all I'm sure you have noticed that with there lines in the ott series. Florida could be the big surprise and then philly knocks out nyr and faces a raw florida outfit. Philly should end that cinderella story then. Books aren't stupid.
They know the rangers a goalie team and they know bos won't repeat hence philly being the favorite.

You think Bryzgalov has any business based on his performance being a starting goaltender in the playoffs? He has been absolutely horrible in the playoffs and if it wasn't for Fleury being even worse (which has a bit to do with some insanely over-powering PHI offense) PHI would be in a world of trouble.
It'll be interesting to see once PHI moves on and face a semi-competent goaltender and disciplined team if Bryzgalov continues his poor play and starts for very much longer.
