I laugh anytime I see someone ues the excuse that they don't want to give SBR their info...Anything you do online now-a-days that involves your name can be found out by anyone...If you don't want your personal info shared then don't go online and offer it up anywhere.
I'm scared to open online banking, I know all my friends tell me how convenient it is, but I'm just scared of my info being found out.........Comment -

Do I trust SBR? Absolutely. I'm not worried about SBR John or JJGOLD being involved in any type of malfeasance. But what if SBR gets sold? What happens if SBR gets penetrated? There is always an inherent risk when giving out personal information, and the less I can expose myself to that risk, the better.[B][B]They key isn't getting rich quick. #47The best bet is to ask the sportsbook or checkout the official SBR reviews. Some of the processing info is touchy, and we ask that it not be shared on the posting forum.
Are you saying that I can't ask fellow posters what sportsbooks allow them to open an account using a Viiisa or M.Card?Comment -

No. But I'm not concerned with that.
You know for a fact that in order for SBR to verify that we are a pro, they needed 5dimes to provide them with my account # and password? That seems a bit ridiculous, don't you think? I figured all SBR needed was my account #, which I provided them anyways, and they would just talk to confirm I deposited 200.
And you also think that SBR cares about my wager history? What kind of benefit does SBR have knowing what type of betting I did last weekend?
I understand these are just excuses, and that's all people have...But if you're honestly believing this, I'm guessing you don't go outside your home to often, because you're probably aware of all the potentially bad things that can happen outside.Comment -

My apologies I don't see the benefit in people providing information that potentially could implicate them in felonious activity, so they can get whats equivalent to TWO FREE PIZZAS EVERY MONTH.[B][B]They key isn't getting rich quick. The key is getting rich slowly, and enjoying it.

#51Yes, how else would they verify that is your account, unless you provide the password? SBR might not care about your wager history. The IRS certainly does though. Certainly you wouldn't want to piss off anyone at SBR if that is the case, would you? Its not like anyone associated with the gambling industry has ever blackmailed someone beforeMy apologies I don't see the benefit in people providing information that potentially could implicate them in felonious activity, so they can get whats equivalent to TWO FREE PIZZAS EVERY MONTH.

lol jesus christ.
Blacker is spot fukkin on.
Omar....I gave SBR my 5dimes account number...They MOST LIKELY just have to talk to 5dimes and say, HEY, did 5dXXXXX deposit 200 bucks, we need to confirm he's a pro. Or do you think SBR says to 5dimes, Hey 5dimes I need this 5dXXXXX guys password to check his transaction history to confirm that he actually deposited, and I'm also going to check his wagers for the past 2 years, and I may even need you guys to provide me his CC info, and his social security number.
Omar...If the IRS actually cared that much about us small timers, they'd be able to get onto SBR, look into your IP address, see what websites you're browsing, see which online books you're using, be able to check your logs and see your account# and password.
lets get real omar. You're just using excuses and nobody gives a shit if you're not a pro. This guy asked what were some positives and we let him know. Not everyone is scared of their own shadow.Comment -

I was merely responding to the people that said there is absolutely no downside to it. You obviously feel the odds of the downside happening are so remotely possible, that it is absolutely worth it for two free pizzas per month. More power to you. That still doesn't change the fact that a downside does exist. Lets just hope nobody that has access to the SBR database ever gets barreled in.[B][B]They key isn't getting rich quick. #57Ironically you decided to not actually post your user ID, just X's. Weird. No, the IRS doesn't care. That doesn't mean if someone that works there wants to fukk you, they couldn't do so very easily if they got the right information. I was merely responding to the people that said there is absolutely no downside to it. Yes, Im sorry I put XXXXX on there, because I'm not gonna distribute my account number to all of SBR members. That makes sense right?
And I know what you're saying about the IRS thing, but exactly what you said, it's a VERY VERY slim chance, that anything would actually come from it...Same thing with buying things online with your CC, there is a better chance of you getting your identity stolen from buying things online than there is with SBR handing your name to the IRS.
I've never ordered a pizza from SBR, I dick around with points, it's fun.
But there are plenty of people who got some NICE things from a tiny little deposit, that you were going to do anyways.Comment -

If you're really not trolling - the sportsbooks confirm the player's deposit and that his/her name matches. SBR never asks for your password.
I'd be happy to answer any Qs about the program you have. Firstly, checkout the Pro application. I think it may end up reassuring you on how the process works.Comment -

#59There are no negatives about it. SBR gets a cut of your 200, and you don't lose anything. It doesn't hurt you that SBR gets a little % of that 200. Might as well let them get theirs, because we all enjoy being here. EDIT: just saw Dr with borders...Then it's up to you. I don't donate money to charities. I just give them my old jiz rags.Comment -

#65Even if you just saved all your points and got a free pizza every time you reached 200 then you'd still be up $130 a year. Although it's really more like $330 a year since I'd imagine most people become pro by funding accounts they were going to use anyway, so it's really not costing them anything.Comment -

Oh well, I can as well make a question... Is it true that I can have some of the shiny electronics/other stuff from the store delivered outside US? (Europe-Greece). Would be pretty neat instead of using the MB cash all the time! Thanks!Comment -
