just got on and was browsing this thread, was over at the STP(Stone temple Pilots) in Indiana at Horseshoe casino , outdoor show, pretty good, Scott Weiland was fu*Ked up, dude was alright singing, messed up the lyrics or changed the lyrics a few times, but when he was addressing the crowd in between songs he was out of it, plus after each song he would walk back and talk to DeLeo, probably asking what they were playing next.

Bread and Robyn, and BTJ hope you guys will be alright after the storm.

I saw STP about six years ago. Weiland, as usual, was tweaking and sickly skinny and pale. We were sitting in the pavilion in maybe the fifth row. After one of the songs, he had the bright idea to tell all of the people sitting on the lawn (a couple thousand) to rush the pavilion. People were stepping and stomping on other people to get up to the stage. It was pretty scary. I hate Scott Weiland now and can't wait until he OD's.

I have gone through a couple of hurricanes in Florida, it ain't that bad specially a cat 1, I went through Andrew in '92 that mfuker was big.

Just make sure the windows are really tight so no gust can come in and that pretty much secures your roof from not coming off. Also don't leave small items laying around they will start flying, Robyn go luck its exciting

thats exactly what it was, they broke up in 02', i seen then that year right before the Derby at the Louisville Palace, a friend i knew from a bar had a neighbor who worked at the ticket window at the Palace, she got us 3rd row center stage when they went on sale.
Weiland actually touched me that show ,he came out in the front rows and was walking across the seats on people and holding the mic out for people to sing along, he put his hand on my shoulder as he was going across the row in front of me, dude looks all freaky close up, all pale and veiny(?).

supposedly he had a falling out with the guys from Velvet Revolver(mainly it's Guns-n-roses minus Axel Rose, w/ Weiland singing), they were pretty good also. Anyway the Drummer from STP contacted Weiland about doing a reunion tour and was telling him how much money they cold make, since most of their fans are in their 30's now and have probably got good jobs and some disposable income, kinda like how all those old bands from the 60's and 70's still tour and ask outrageous ticket prices, they know their fans are all older and have got more money, plus they can keep making people think it will be their last chance to see them.

side note, i ran into alot of old friends, some told me they seen The Black Crowes about a month ago there, i thought about going, they said they sucked, they were all messed up and didn't play any of their hits from the first 2 albums, just played bluegrass sounding music. my one friend said people were yelling at them to play the Black Crowes.
